I have this really great 50's style dinning room table and a pretty small house so i want to decorate the house around the table. any suggestions to make my house 50's style?

you have some fun choices - you could go soda fountain - black and white tiles on the floor, pink and red, neon coca cola signs. Or western was very big - wagon wheel light fixture, western fabrics, lots of wood furniture. And lastly - Parisian - french provincial furniture, little nicknack statues of french poodles, very froufrou.
My house was built in 1951 so I'm with you on the style.

Hit the garage sales and the estate sales. A friend of mine did that she her house is so cute. Do a lot of research.
