Hell Yeah! A woman may stay with a man that sucks in bed a little longer than she should for other reasons, but as soon as he gets on her nerves, she'll be saying to herself or to him "why am I even dealing with this, and you can't even screw me right", good sex will get you farther than you think. Good sex will make you stay in a relationship you should be running from...real women, tell me I'm lying.

No, it's no real big feat to have sex with someone. Just about anyone can do it. Its more of an importance to me be able to have someone where sex is the least focus of it, even as good as it feels. Otherwise, sex controls the relationship and everything else takes a back seat.
Society has made it where it's the all important guide to a great relationship where no matter how much you get, you aren't doing it enough, in enough different ways and with enough people. It makes people feel like they are missing out what everyone else is doing. In the end, it could cause more problems than it solves. It's important in a serious relationship but shouldn't be that important.

All the elements of a relationship are important. Some that are more important than sex are RESPECT and HONESTY. Without those, there is no relationship and therefore no need for sex.
That having been said, when you love someone so deeply that you can never be close enough to them, you can never see deeply enough into their eyes, or hear enough of their voice, when you are totally consumed by love for someone, then sex becomes important as a very special way to strengthen the bond between you. Sex is something that two people should only share when they can not possibly live without each other then it becomes - "Making Love".
When you consider your relationship, consider whether or not there is respect and honesty, and whether you will be "Making Love" or "having sex". Believe me, Making Love is soooooo much better.
Good Luck - I hope that answers your question. Oh yeah, I'm a woman

1st of all, I'm a woman. I think sex is a very important element in a relationship. If you don't have a good sex life, you can pretty much hang it up! Seriously, think about it, men & women need & want sex, love-making(whatever ya wanna call it), & if it's not there in a relationship, trouble will ensue, GUARANTEED!! Maybe not in the beginning, but you can only fake it for so long.

Yes, male.
Sex is always an important aspect of any relationship between a male and female. Even pundits have said that love evolves from physical contact and transforms into eternal love.

Yes it is a part of a relationship you need a physical connection as well as emotional/ mental connection. But the emotional/mental is far more important because sex only last minutes so it is better to establish that mental connection before you get into the physical part or you might become more like friends with benefits happend to me 2 times that way and it never turned into anything but.

Male.
I find sex is a very natural, primal thing and it should just kind of happen, If it does, it does. If it doesnt, it doesnt.
I personally feel that a physical connection is a very important element in a relationship.

I'm female, and yes. In the past, I have made the mistake of staying in a relationship where the sexual connection wasn't there. We were connected in many other ways, including intellectually, but we really suffered from not having that special intimacy.

Love is what makes the relationship stronger... sex causes problem, especially if both of you are not yet ready (although the feeling is great). In married life... I would say yes.

And I think is depends on the seriousness of the relationship. Especially a long term, where sex can deepen the attraction between two indiviuals.
