You may not lose weight just eating fruits and vegetables,a nd if you do, as soon as you start eating again, you will gain it all back. You need a balance of nutrients. Increase fruit and vegetables for sure, but stick with lean proteins, like chicken (skinless) and ligher fish. Lean beef in moderation is also good since it will provide additional sources of iron. Whole grains also help, especially providing fiber to keep you regular.

To lose weight properly, you need to be concerned with overall health. Add exercise into your routine and eat a balanced diet. Then you can see your body being transformed, not just in weight but into a more flattering shape.
