I agree!! People just have issues I guess!! There is a way to go about asking questions so as not to offend and then there is a way to go about asking to downright attack someone!! When someone does that it just makes me sick and makes me wanna not even come here!! No one (this includes all sides) should be that way to another human being! I think when that kind of behavior continues, they should be banned-PERIOD!!

Satan uses apostates to discredit Jehovah's organization.
like the unsilented lamb. But it seems to be having a reverse effect. I had studies that saw and read her comments.
They said, "why so much hatred and lies, she keeps changeing her story." She is so against them not taking blood. Yet men die everyday for what they believe it and that doesn't seem to bother her a bit. She never comments about them. What about the lives lost to war?
Didn't they die for what they believed in? Is it better to worship a country or a God?
So since this makes people think and check into the reasons why it just might back fire on them and do just the oposite.
Anyway, I am finding out in my case it is.
Something else my bible study brought out, why don't they discredit the Babtist church? TV evangelists like the one now that is in a scandal. Or talk about the one caught trying to get sex from a man? Why is it always focused on JW's?
All I could answer her was because it is the truth, the others are flase religion. Satan doesn't need to discredit his organization.

First of all,Nina said she has NEVER been a Witness. Assuming that is the truth, she is being used to further Satan's attack just the same. Remember most of so-called Christianity became apostate after the death of the apostles. So while she may never have been a Witness, the term apostate can still be applied.
But what disturbs me more than her comments, is the attention Witnesses, who should know better, still give to her and those who support her. THIS QUESTION for instance. Which has led to other Witnesses even addressing one answer on here given by a person who openly admitted to being an Ex-Witness. Something we certainly would not do at the Hall, so why here?
How hard can it be to just ignore the remarks and thereby keep ourselves from blame? Instead of being causes for possible stumbling, to inexperienced ones. Will we ALL start using discernment?
If you are not looking for a fight, why point your finger at those who are? For surely, those ones will show up here soon, to respond to your inquiry.

I find it rather sad. I have been in a few other religions before becoming a witness and even experienced some pretty bad stuff in the Pentecostal religion were the Minister was covering for a Child molester. Do I think that all Pentecostals do this? NO. Do I now think that what they teach is false? YES. Am I on a campaign to lambaste and put down that one religion NO. People like this is what starts religious wars. Thankfully, We, J.W.'s would not lift a weapon to these individuals. We live and let live. Do God's will and let him judge.

I'll give you verse and some answer of your other questions.
Apostle John said.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
I John 4:1
King James Version
and here's another
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Matthew 24:24
King James Version
do you think that all religion that preached Christ. is true. I'd say NO
Apostle Paul said
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
II Corinthians 11:3
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
II Corinthians 11:4
King James Version

It's fine to "vent" their anger and frustrations, but where is the line drawn? When does this venting become slander? Because to begin with, what they are saying about our religion is lies. And how will the general public, the ones who just happen into the R & S section for the first time, know that these people are just "venting".
Like others have already said - we love our neighbors and do not hate anyone! If you will check any responses from JW's to any questions, you will see that we NEVER bash anyone else's religion. It's only the ex-JW's that do that.

Jesus said that because he was persecuted, that his followers would be persecuted too. That's why so many, especially those who have turned apostate or are found to be unrepentant, (as well as others among false religion just as Jesus was hated by the Scribes and Pharisees in his day) hate us so much.
Just as a side point, the Bible shows that Love is the defining trait of Jesus disciples. And unitedly, all over the globe, over 6 million Witnesses display Love for each other AND OUR NEIGHBORS!! It doesn't surprise us, however, that so many hate us for our good works, just as I said before about people who once were Jesus' followers but then turned on him.
Loving our neighbors includes even those who have left us due to being unrepentant. As the Bible says, God doesn't wish anyone to perish, but wishes all to attain to life. Another thought is Jesus' illustration of the lost sheep and how the shepherd will leave the 99 sheep to search for the one that is lost, then once found there is much rejoicing. We, in like manner, don't want others to perish, but would like all who have fallen away (the lost sheep), to come back and join us once again...even if, at the moment they may hate us for whatever bad experience she (nina and others) have dealt with. Almost always, the bad experience is due to their attitude when being reproved, therefore, they more than likely will never come back, unfortunately.

She is free to speak as she chooses but she should stick to speaking the truth of her disagreements and not embellishing. She may feel the need to let others know about certain things pertaining to that religious belief and she is free to do so. I would suggest she state fact and not speak hate, sometimes the two sound the same depending on the listener. As a former Catholic and now Born Again Christian, I feel the need to let Catholics know that many of the Catholic church's teachings are contrary to Gods Word. I only speak to the things that I disagreed with in their doctrine, but I suppose to some Catholics that may be perceived as hate speech. People hear what they want to hear. God Bless You...Peace.

Unfortunately there are some who have been hurt by other religions or denominations. It is only obvious that they couldn't grow spiritually because of this. Its sad. So instead of moving on and maturing, All they can do is lash out at what ever caused them pain. They probably dont realize how they look to others. Perhaps now that this question has been asked, there can be a healing for others who may see now how others see them. Forgiveness heals. Judgment hurts but sometimes by the grace of God, also opens the eyes.

OK, well I suppose there could be a few different reasons. I'll start with the one that gives her basically the benefit of the doubt. Maybe something terrible happened to her when she was a part of that specific group, possibly something that scarred her, and she feels Y!A as the best or easiest venue to vent. Or it's possible that she is just a cold bitter individual who gets her kicks from bashing others. If her self esteem is so low that she feels the need to get on line and take it out on complete strangers then I think we need to feel very sorry for her. Her life must be terribly empty, if this is the case.
Although R & S is not my usual haunt, some of my wonderful contacts do tend to hang out here, and I hate to think of the rotten comments that are thrown at them regularly, not to mention the violations & suspensions.
I suggest that we all pray for this girl you are speaking of, because it sounds like she could really use some love!

This individual and others like her are unwittingly fulfilling Bible prophecy. Jesus said his followers would be hated and that some would view the apparent 'delay' in Christs return as an opportunity to figuratively "beat" their former fellow slaves of Christ. (Matthew 5:11 & 10:22, Matthew 24:45-51) It is very sad that prominent apostates have taken advantage of these individuals resentment and pain and continually feed it so as to keep the fires of hate burning. These apostates have left Jehovah for thier own selfish reasons and seek to "draw away disciples after themselves" (Acts 20:30)
