Does anyone else have a talking Boxer out there? I dont mean literally they talk but, my boxer puppy has the unique noises that he makes when he wants attention. I cant explain them....well I guess I can. Its more of an exaggerated whine like he is trying to say something lol. It is so funny.

My sister has a boxer and she does that too! She is the sweetest girl though, but when she wants attention and if you aren't giving it to her she'll do these funny sniffing, grunting, and whining sounds really loud, lick her chops and paw at you or try to rub against you. They are great dogs, love em.

I see this a lot when training dogs! It is cute but should not be rewarded if they are being inappropriate. Different dogs and different dog breeds have various ways of communicating "cute" actions that they have discovered work to get what they want!

I had a Boxer too, and remember his antics and sounds! They are just a big hunk of puppy well into adulthood!

I dont have a boxer but my shih tzu "talks" alot. I just had company in my home from out of town and my dog was making his normal sounds. I knew what he was talking about and my company thought it was funny. Really just have to love dogs.

I have one that I think is a boxer mix. He uses his voice anytime he wants attention. He barks ...whines...all kinds of stuff.
