A very popular snack in our home is string cheese and apples. You could also give some type of bread like pumpkin bread or zucchini bread.

They are going to need a souce of energy that will keep their bodies in constant balance. I wouldn't recommend anything that is too high in sugar or sodium. However what I am recommending is Mr. Z's Survival Mix from Whole Foods Market or right off the website http://www.mrzsnacks.com/. High energy food that will allow for quiality calorie consumption. The mix has a pleasing taste: filled with unsalted roasted peanuts, raisins, carob chips, soy nuts, sunflower kernels, and lightly salted toasted corn nuts. I actually eat this mix right before a busy Saturday shift for a Cookie/Pretzel place that I manage. If Mr Z's doesn't quite sound like the right energy mix, I would make your own nut mixture. Use unsalted nuts and quality ingrediants consider using: soy nuts, chopped and roasted pecans, sunflower seeds, raisins, dark chocolate chips, and unsweetened banana chips. Premix is convienent but both are cost effective for you as a manager.
You will need to keep your employees hydrated and relaxed as well. Why not give them the most important thing, water. I recommend pitchers of ice water with sliced lemons. Water bottles with each employees name on it may suffice. Have a couple bunches of bananas along with sliced apples in water (for easy consumption) and grapes. Don't serve anything with dairy as it tends to make a person feel heavy on their feet and become sluggish in performence.
As a manager for a Mrs. Fields I bring a one gallon zip lock bag full of washed grapes once and a while for my employees to consume. I find many of them perform better with the fruit then if they consume cookies and pretzels. The most important thing to have your employees do is drink water. No lemonade or soda. Seriously, if you haven't already heard emplyoees complaining about being lightheaded, red faced, and about to faint on a busy weekend then you probaly will on black friday without easy access to water.
Best wishes for the holidays,

I'm not sure how many employees you have, so this might be kind of pricey, but a basket of good granola bars (not the ultra-sugary ones), plus some energy drinks would be nice -- Odwalla bars and Odwalla juice are tasty and full of good calories, not junk. Trail mix is good, and fresh fruit, too. Little yogurt cups or bottles would be quick to eat on a busy day.
You're a very thoughtful boss! I'm sure your employees will appreciate your care.

I love chocolate dipped pretzels. Buy the long pretzel rods and dip half (or all!) of them in white, dark or milk chocolate, then in sprinkles or chopped nuts if you want.
Another person suggested Rice Krispie treats. You can NOT go wrong with Rice Krispie treats!

My favorite is the homemade "Marshmallow Rice Krispie Treats" either plain or with mini M&M's or mini choc. chips!
Delicious and great for "on the go" snacking!
