Keep a close eye on your dogs behavior for the next day or so- has his breathing changed? Is he lethargic? How is his appetite? Is he drinking water like normal? How are his bowel movements?

If you see even a slight change in any of the above - better to err on the side of caution and have your vet check him out.

um yeah.pork and poultry bones are bad for dogs because they splinter.i have a bulldog that has gotten many of bones and she is fine.but try to keep up all bones and keep an eye on his neck and make sure there are no lumps.

You need to get him to an emergency vet right away! Cooked bones are not good for your dog, and could splinter in his system.

If he seems to be having trouble breathing, you should try opening his mouth to see whether there is a bit of bone stuck in his throat
