Is corn syrup solution compared to acetic acid hypertonic or hypotonic?

A strange question indeed; but I'll give it my best shot:
If you were to enclose glacial (water-free) acetic in a semi-permeable bag and place it in a corn syrup solution,
water would enter the bag. In this case, the corn syrup would be considered hypotonic.
