the Apostles to speak and write about Christian unity???
Theirs was based not on a monolithic organizational structure but on love.
All JWs many millions who attend their meetings read the same material, hear the same music, sing the same songs and learn to think the same thoughts.
"...love, for it is a perfect bond of union" ...love which bonds all things together in perfect unity." ( Col 3:14 NWT, TEV )

Contra sister: You have a free will. If all my questions seem hateful to you, you are propably a good candidate for JWs religion.
I am concentrating JWs doctrines because I want to people to know abot the teachings that they do not start with when they come to your door. By any means, join them...unless you already are one of them. You have your free will. I want to warn you though, that organization does not have the authorization nor power to carry out their promises.
You offered no answer to my question.

Line Dancer: You have NOT proved to me that the Trinity is false. You can believe your church's teachings. WT organiztion has taught you to go around and call people names, that is what you are good at.
You are a minority group. And you always will. Mormons also claim to be one true religion.

Light 4 blind people: I have done research on Trinity. Trinity of the Bible is not the pagan three god concept you are referring to. The word Trinity is not in the Bible, it was introduced slowly so that plytheist people would not mistake it worshiping three gods. It is convenient for many cults to claim that Trinity is polytheistic concept, but no. Biblical Trinity is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit = one and only and true God = God of Abraham

It is only the true body of believers that have the mark of Christian love.
What is the true body of believers?
Well, the body of Christ--His bride, the Church is made up of all those throughout time who have ever believed in Jesus as their Savior, repented of all their sins before God and asked for the forgiveness that only comes through Jesus' death and ressurection. Only those who obey what God wants them to do. Only those who trust COMPLETELY in Jesus--and never on MAN, or any man-made religion.
One fruit of knowing Jesus as Savior should be an unfeigned love of the bretheren.
1 Peter 1:21-23, "Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."
We must be born again, we must believe that God raised up Jesus from the dead. Can you see in this verse that our HOPE and our FAITH is to be in God ?--never a man made religion.
Oh LORD God of Heaven and Earth--open the eyes of those blind to this truth. That only through Jesus comes the way of salvation and NEVER through a man-made religion or a magazine company.
In Jesus name.
Amen.

Jehovah and his firstborn Son enjoyed close association for billions of years—long before the starry heavens and the earth were created. How they must have loved each other! (John 3:35; 14:31) This dear Son was just like his Father. That is why the Bible refers to the Son as “the image of the invisible God.” (Colossians 1:15) Yes, even as a human son may closely resemble his father in various ways, this heavenly Son reflected his Father’s qualities and personality.

1 Cor. 1:10 says: "Now I exhort you, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among you, but that you may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought."
All true Christians learn the same thing and believe the same thing from the Bible.
Can this be said of all "Christian" religions? Not on your life. Some churches are divided because some of them have a tolerance for homosexuality, even allowing gays to hold positions of oversight in the congregation. The Baptists churches, like the one your friend Unsilenced Lamb attends, are sovereign in themselves. Each individual church decides what is acceptable for that particular church. No unity there.
On the other hand, JW's practice what the Bible teaches. There are no divisions among them, and they are "fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought." Is your religion like that?
"Selfless and loving people can do also a lot of damage with the false teaching."
What false teaching? It has already been proved to you that your belief in the trinity is false. Even non-witnesses pointed out to you that at least one of your trinitarian "proofs" was entirely baseless. You are hardly in a position to judge what teachings are false, wouldn't you say?
You are the one who said all true Christians believe in the trinity, so the burden of proof is on YOU! So far, you have not provided that proof...because you can't.
"You are a minority group. And you always will [be]."
Tell me, Nina: How many people survived the flood in Noah's day? The majority or the minority? Of all those who heard the preaching of Jesus, how many obeyed his words? The majority or the minority? At Matt. 7:13, 14, Jesus gave an illustration of two roads. One road was wide, while the other one was narrow. Many peope were on the wide road heading off into destruction. Only a few were on the narrow road leading to life. The point of Jesus' illustration was to show that out of all who professed to be worshiping God, only a relative few were actually doing so. The relatively small size of Jehovah's Witnesses is one of a number of indications that points to them as having the one true faith. When it comes to worshiping God, "the majority rules" is NOT the rule!
"I already have a wonderful church that actually teaches the Biblical truth."
Does your "wonderful church" teach you to focus your attacks on the views of one specific religious group? Are you saying, then, that ALL other religions agree with you on everything? Not hardly. All you are doing is using this forum to spread religious bigotry instead of using it for the purpose of exchanging ideas with others. If you feel your "wonderful church" teaches Biblical truth, why don't you tell us what that truth is...if you can?
Perhaps you can share with others how your "wonderful church" can teach doctrines that conflict with all other non-witness religions, but at the same time be in Christian unity with them. Are you game?
"It is convenient for many cults to claim that Trinity is polytheistic concept, but no. Biblical Trinity is the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit = one and only and true God = God of Abraham."
Wrong again! If the trinity is Biblical, show me ONE verse or series of verses that say the Father, Son, and the holy spirit are co-equal, co-eternal, almighty, AND that they make up one God. I'm telling you that you can't show me that.
Does the Bible say that Abraham worshiped a triune God? No! Did Jesus teach that the trinity is the "one and only true God"? No. At John 17:3, he plainly singled out his Father as the ONLY true God.
Is the trinity polythistic? Yes. The trinity is based, not on the Bible, but on the Catholic Athanasian Creed, which says that the Father is God AND the Son is God AND the Holy Spirit is God. If you do your math right, how many Gods do you come up with? THREE Gods.
The trinity has you so confused that you don't know what to think. In this posting, you call the trinity "the one and only true God." But in another posting, you said Jesus is "the living God." If the trinity is God, how can Jesus by himself ALSO be God? Do you see more than one God? You are confused to the max.
Jehovah's Witnesses world wide have a good reason for rejecting the trinity. It is a pagan teaching.

Everywhere I go in the whole wide world- all I have to do is find the nearest JW, I've got family all over the world, who love me even though they do not know me, if our countries went to war none of my JW brothers or sisters would hurt me or my loved ones or anyone else for that matter.......
Even when I attended meetings in a foreign language, the brothers and sisters communicated their love through their hugs and smiles, even though I'm a different colour from them with us it doesn't matter.
Your fellow non-denominational "Christians" would kill you at a drop of a hat if the government told them to.
I'd rather be with people who read the same material, hear the same music, sing the same songs and think the same thoughts, and who LOVE each other!!!

Our unity is one of love. I can go anywhere in the world and I would have a place to sleep and a meal to eat because we take care of each other, we know that where ever we go in the world we would be learning the truth. You will never see a Jehovah's Witness pick up arms in war, killing our brothers just because they are from another country or nation unlike the rest of the world, Catholics killing Catholics, Protestants killing Protestants and so forth. The rest of religions cannot make that claim so tell me they have a bond of unity of love, you can't do that without lying. Some of our brothers and sisters have laid down their lives protecting each other in times of war.

If you do not think that God is concerned with order and structure, than you do not know God.
The order and structure of the creation, are indicitive of the love of the creator.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is [a God], not of disorder, but of peace.
I know many JW's, and I have never met people who are more selfless and loving.
I'll just venture to guess, that you have a great hatred of Jehovah's Witnesses, and like to block people who see through your hatred.
Have you ever wondered, why it is that only disfellowshipped or disassociated JW's turn around and focus almost exclusively on promoting hatred of the orginization unlike those who have left other religions?
I do not recall ever seeing a posting on this forum of any person who left any church other than the JW's who devote as much time as ex-JW's slandering their former christian brothers and sisters.
Makes me wonder, is it true what the scripture says?
Matthew 7:6 “Do not give what is holy to dogs, neither throw YOUR pearls before swine, that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip YOU open."
PS. I know a lot of people can do a lot of damage by telling out right lies.
With an open mind, I have been studying the Bible with many different representatives of various religions, and have found that the JW's are the most consistent, with the none (as of yet)
traditions that can not be supported by scripture.
So, where is the falsehood you allude to?

Do some research on trinity. You will find some shocking details (it has pagan origins). How can you believe in such a thing? It's an offense to God.
Didn't Jesus say that those who will find the truth won't be many? Read Matthew 7:13,14.

Wow, when one considers your entire track record for your questions and answers, one can only shake their head.
Could you try this for a change? Rather than continue your endless tirade against the JW's, can you please at any time try to give something a little more constructive, like how is it that you are more loving than a JW, or, perhaps, how is it that you have better knowledge than a JW?
You know going around spewing out hatred for a particular orginization is not a form of 'preaching' that is constructive or helpful to those here on YA.
With all your negative questions and answers, it really makes me more interested in what the JW's have to say, I mean, if you, as such a mean spirited person don't like them, then maybe they are just really nice people who did not tolerate an intolerant meany such as yourself, right?

No.
Jehovah's Witnesses are motivated by love, in unique ways that expose the hypocrisy of Christendom.
For example, during both World Wars, Catholics killed Catholics, and Protestants killed Protestants. By contrast, Jehovah's Witnesses did not kill anyone, much less their brothers in faith.
It seems not just sad, but tragic that Christendom bears such unmistakable evidence of their disunity, and misplaced allegiances.

Nina: I agree with you...Just look at the Apostles...sometimes they look like the 12 stooges...they made mistakes all of the time..they couldn't even stay awake on the night that their Lord was to be taken...they mostly missed the point of things, until way too late...These were God's chosen.
It shows us that God is our head, and when we follow Man, it is only to our destruction.
