There is an old time remedy that uses a certain type of potato skin extract. The potato is currently only found growing wild in the appalachian mountains, but is supposed to soften and decolour scars. I found the only business that manufactures the stuff - username potatomagic on ebay. Hope that helps.

Want to see all my kitty scars?! I have lots of them. The worst is from when my ragdoll would freak out from nightmares.
A scar is a scar. Sometimes they fade; sometimes they don't. There are products out there like Mederma, but I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Depending on the depth and width, coco butter helps, but professional help also does it, i.e., massage, plastic surgery, ultra sound. If you can go to a dermatologist / surgeon!

Try using Aloe Vera with Vitamin E cream. It's not instantaneous but it should take care of it.

They have expensive 'scar treatment patches' and creams but if you rub viti-e on it and use a coco-butter lotion it should fade in time!

Try Neosporin, or however you spell it. It's supposed to help fade scars.
