A man defeats sin with Jesus. He Learns to walk like Jesus, and "become" perfect as him. So lets just say I sinned till I was 20, then sin went under my feet, with Jesus...not his blood(means you look to him to carry you but you are still a sinner) So if I lived 1000 yrs old...the last time God saw a sin in me was before 20. So for 980 yrs I did not sin once and I would never sin agian because I learned to love like the father. Do you think a man has found a way to defeat sin, and make it into heaven, with Jesus. instead of being a sinner and sacraficing Jesus and getting into heaven.

So I did defeated sin? do you think this is possible, for all things are possible with our God.......and I think this is possible and it is the only way Jesus makes sense to me. No one called on heaven for his righteousness, and that is why he sent his son to die for you.

Romans 3:10 says there are none righteous no not one Romans 6:23 says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. how do these two verses fit in to your distorted view of the gospel?

The question asked to enter heaven is not "Have you gotten good at 'not sinning'?", but rather "Have you EVER committed a sin?"

If you can answer that question with a "No.", then you can enter heaven without the blood of the Lamb. But scripture tells us that ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. You and I are part of that group, so our only way in is cleaned by the blood.

If a murderer goes the next 80 years without ever killing anybody again, is he now innocent of the one murder he committed? No. Still guilty.

Learning to love like the father won't get you into Heaven theres only one way there and that's through the blood of the lamb. Being good won't get you nothing but a front row seat in a firey pit.

Interesting question. The problem with sin is the culpability, not the probability. Meaning, it is the guilt of the one sin that must be removed rather than the probability of more sin.

This is demonstrated in the man Moses. He committed only one sin (striking the rock rather than speaking to it), and other than that lived as the greatest man of his time. (God stated that of all men, He spoke to Moses face to face, as a friend - Exodus 33; He was th emst humble man in history - Number 11) However, because of the culpability of that one sin, he was not permitted to enter the promised land

No because His strength didn't save you. His blood being sacrificed for all our sins saved you. We have all sinned at some time or another. In your scenario, you sinned 980 years prior, but you still sinned.

Sorry, if you weren't saved by the blood of the Lamb, then you weren't saved. It sounds as if you are trying to justify yourself through your own righteousness, but "Our righteousness is as filthy rags before Him."
