I stopped when my brother told me he wasn't real. I thought it seemed sort of far-fetched anyway, so when he told me Santa wasn't real, I sort of felt my own thoughts had been validated and was glad to hear it.

I came to the conclusion, around five years old, that the idea of Santa Claus was quite ludicrous. That's also the exact moment I became an Atheist and refuted the Easter Bunny.

Santa Claus was a real guy. Just like Dracula.

I just suddenly realized when I was six years old that Santa Claus did not actually exist. Our father had taken my five year old sister and me to see Santa at a department store and had said something to us earlier about asking for a doll house for Christmas. We forgot to ask for it, but we received a doll house, anyway, so later it occurred to me that Santa had not been involved in the gift-giving!

You know, honestly I don't know. I don't even remember believing in Santa Claus in the first place, although I'm sure that must have happened.

Hold on, there is a blade runner at the door.

What do you mean "stop believing in Santa Claus"?
Why would I do that?

What’s to believe? What’s this about? I hope you are not going to tell me that the Jolly old fella is a figment of imagination are you? No please don't say it is true.
Oh wait, my bad, I thought you said God seeing as this is R&S.
I found out about Santa when I stopped believing in fairy tales and fiction like biblical stories for example - probably about 8. For to believe in such things as Santa, God, the Easter Bunny, Unicorns, Tooth Fairy, Spaghetti Monsters, Aliens, ghosts or monsters after that age is nothing less than delusional.

Edit: [vinyl] AM - thanks for the link - that is very funny ;-)

When I really think about it, I never did really believe in Santa. I always knew there was something not right about it. Funny about a lie huh. Deep down you always know the truth. That's why God said the truth will always come out.
