'Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.'
(Psalm 121:4)

The above passage says that God never sleeps nor slumbers.

'And the same day, when the evening was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, ASLEEP on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?'(Mark 4:35-40)

Now THIS passage is saying Jesus was sleeping on the ship. Question. If Jesus was God in the flesh, why was He sleeping on the ship when Psalm 121:4 says that God never sleeps nor slumbers?

NO.
God is NOT a human. Gd is not like the rest of Creation. God has no flesh, bones or body like ours. God is Divine.
God never has the need to sleep like us humans.

Arianism heresy began in the year 318 AD.
The Council of Nicea 325 AD condemned this heresy.

The early church definitely believed that Jesus the Christ was the Son of God. He was Divine, and He was Human. Jesus is Truly the Divine God.

Col 2:9 Saint Paul stresses the fullness of the Godhead, the fullness of Divinity is in Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 9:6 The passage can only refer to Jesus, the "Mighty God"

Rev 1:8 Jehovah God is called the Alpha and the Omega
Rev 22:13 Jesus is called the Alpha and the Omega.

Isaiah 44:6 besides me there is no God. Jesus is God. 1 Cor 8:4-6

Arianism is a false heresy, condemned for thousands of years. Move on.

Jesus was God who left the glory of heaven to be born on earth and become a man.
By doing this, he shows that He understands what man is going through. He understands that man gets hungry because He became hungry. He thirsted, He got tired and slept, and was tempted just like we are.
This makes Jesus a personal saviour. He died for the sins of man. No man could do this except for God`s only begotton Son. A man had brought sin into the world and had to take it out. That is what Jesus did because He loves us so much.

1. According to Christianity, yes, He was.
2. Obviously, the Psalm you mentioned is unrelated to the incident. The doctrine of the Church is that Jesus had two natures, one human, one Divine. Even though the Divine had incarnated in Jesus, that did not limit the whole of the Deity to the physical body of the man Jesus. It was the physical, human nature of Jesus was what needed sleep. To say otherwise would be to approach Docetism.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He slept, ate, wept, and endured all our human emotions and temptations. God never sleeps or slumbers. God was still active even when Jesus was on Earth. It is not a hard concept for me to grasp. I am many people rolled up in one. I am not defined by just one but by all.

As the son of god (according to the christians and the bible), he is a god.

Being born of a human he is in human form and the human body would require rest and food and water etc. So even though he is a god (their words) he is subject to the limitations of a physical body. Which are food for energy, sleep for recovery, water as body requires it and clothing for warmth and so on.

He may have had the ability to push the body beyond its normal limits but the human body will run down and breakdown if it is not cared for.

So we have to assume that god is in another form in heaven and as such it may just have its own energy collection system that does not require any interupption so no sleep or rest required.

Only proof is in the KJV of 1 Timothy 3:16

1 Timothy 3:16 (The King James Version)
"Great is the mystery of godliness. God was manifested in the flesh.

The fact is, the word "God" was NOT FOUND IN THE ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPTS.

1 Timothy 3:16 (New International Version)
Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great:
He appeared in a body,

1 Timothy 3:16 (New American Standard Bible)
By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh,

1 Timothy 3:16 (English Standard Version)
Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh,

I've explained the trinitarian view to you a number of times, and others have as well, so you fully understand that trinitarians do not assert that Jesus and the Father are the same PERSON. That is modalism, and the only ones I know of for sure that espouse that view are Oneness Pentecostals. It might help you to understand the difference between the Greek words for greater (meizon) and better (kreitton). Jesus specifically said, "The Father is GREATER than I" not, "The Father is BETTER than I." The word "greater" is used to point to the Father's greater position, not a greater nature. It is the same concept found at 1 Cor. 11:3: "But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God" and it speaks of the eternal HEADSHIP of the Father. Surely you would agree that this verse is not implying that women are inferior to men by NATURE (after all, both are human beings), but that the man has been placed in a greater position as the head of the woman. Had the word BETTER been used in John 14:28, this would indicate that the Father has a better nature than Jesus, but this was not the case. The distinction is made clear in Hebrews 1:4, where "BETTER" is used in regard to Jesus' superiority over the angels. The word "better" in this verse indicates that Jesus is not only higher than the angels POSITIONALLY; rather, He is higher than the angels in HIS VERY NATURE. Jesus is different (better) in kind and in nature than the angels. I'll illustrate with an example from my own country. President Obama is in a higher position than the rest of us in America. Therefore, the president is greater (meizon) than the rest of us. However, he is still just a human being--and thus he is not better (kreitton) than the rest of us. Is the president of the United States intrinsically better than the rest of us by nature, or is it more correct to say that his position is greater than ours? In view of the distinction between the Greek words for "greater" (meaning higher in position) and "better" (meaning higher in nature), is it not clear that in John 14:28 Jesus is speaking of the Father's higher position and not higher nature? Philippians 2:6-9 confirms this interpretation. The apostle Paul, speaking of the incarnation, said that Christ "being in very NATURE God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness."

Jesus came as a fleshly representation of God. He is not God, but the son of God. God gave his only son, and Jesus makes several references to his father in Heaven, even stating that he was sent by his father. God is God and Jesus is Jesus. the Bible also states that Jesus is seated at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1) God did not leave Heaven unattended and walk the earth. He did not plant himself in Mary's womb. His son was sent on our behalf. Praise God and thank him for that.

Jesus was fully God, yes, but also fully man. This means He had to eat and sleep like any other man. Being fully God did not relieve Him of His physical constraints.
