If teens care SO MUCH about their babies then:
a. Why did they get pregnant in the first place because no baby should have an immature mom for a mom (that is no good for the baby).
b. Why don't they put the baby up for adoption??? It would be the BEST for the baby!!!
c. Why don't teen mothers ever do what is best for their baby???

14 year olds do NOT make great mothers. No job, not independent, no house, probably no husband, etc... It is a ridiculous joke to say that a 14 year old would make a great mother. In fact, 14 year olds do not even have a fully developed brain yet....

Because these teens are NOT adults and dont have decent parents who keep them from getting pregnant in the first place.Teens think like children because they ARE children.

a) Most teens don't plan on getting pregnant. They get caught up in the moment. Because they're teens they believe they're invincible. It goes with the territory. Not all teens are immature. There are many adult Moms who are too immature to take good care of a baby.
b) Why would it be BEST for the baby to be put up for adoption? How do you tell a teen mother who just gave birth to cut that emotional attachment that formed over the previous 9 months? There are some situations where it would be best for the baby to be adopted but not ALL. There are some teens who make great Moms.
c) Why do you believe teen mothers never do what's best for the baby?
You're making a lot of generalized statements here which leads me to believe you're a teen yourself. I'm assuming you've had contact with a teen Mom where things didn't go so well. We all come into this world to learn and experience certain things. Being on the outside of a situation we can't know what lessons are being learned or what needs to be learned. We may look at someone's circumstances and think it's horrible but what comes out of having gone through the experience is invaluable for those who went through it.
Lesson for you: try not to judge other people. You are not them and they are not you. What's right for you may not be right for someone else. Try to see everyone as innocent and be willing to forgive when someone hurts you or someone you care about. These are not easy things to do but if you can master them, your life will be so much richer.

a. Teens, like adults say, sometimes don't make good judgements. Not like all adults make good decisions either, but not all teens always make bad judgements.
b. Some are smart, give it up for adoption. Others may believe adoption is just as bad as any other solution except taking care of it themselves. But, again, some teens can be great mothers, and it'd be best for the baby to stay if the mother can handle it.
c. Same with a. Some will think they can handle taking care of a baby, and some CAN handle a baby, but others(probably most) may not. It also doesn't help if the father doesn't do his share and runs off with some other girl. If the guy takes responsibility, it makes taking care of the baby much easier for the girl, as well as the baby.

Itakes 2 to make a baby. With all the discussions that go on at school about contraception in health education classeswhy are not young people heeding the message about contraception? Not all teen mums are bad mums, like us older folk. Not allolder women are good mums. It does help to have a supportive father and partner. In Australia mothers wont put up babies for adoptionbeacuse of the government granting a payout to mothers if they have children. Its anincentive for young girls to get pregnant.

I think you know some pretty bad teen moms this why your asking this question! Why do you worry about them if your not supporting them ? I had my son at 16 and I'm a great mother to him I finished school worked two jobs and put my self threw college. His ten now and damn proud of having a young mommy.
My son is very smart, he is one of the top kids in his class in mathematics. I'm a hygienists and very happy and proud of all the good things that I have accomplished in life including becoming a teenage mother.

I was a teen mother, I had my daughter at 15. I am a terrific mother and always have been. I have always had a job, a car, my OWN house, and my daughter has always had everything she has needed or wanted. I am now 25, married to her father might I add, and have another child. We are doing far better than most people who are 10+ years older then us. Please don't be so quick to throw all teen mothers into a bad stereotype. While they are few and far between, some actually do take good care of their children from the start.

i think of a few human beings see a bath for a teenager mom as advocating teenager being pregnant. i will assure you if I had gotten pregnant as a teenager there is 0 probability i'd have had a bath, not that that is ideal, yet my parents are very religious and one hundred% against intercourse in the previous marriage and a teenager being pregnant would have been seen as a tragedy and not some thing to be celebrated. regardless of the shown fact that i think of all teenager mothers would desire to be thrown a bath by utilising somebody because of the fact there is a lot that a infant needs and it would maximum probable be impossible for a teenager mom to be waiting to pay for all of it herself. teenager mothers want as lots help and help as they are able to get.

Wow you are so full of judgement!!! I'm guessing that you have only ever experienced the negatives of teen mums.
Some teen mums make better mothers than married mothers of decent age.
Think before you judge!

I don't think they realize the consequences of having a baby while they are so young BECAUSE they are children !
Adoption is a very mature unselfish decision that would be difficult for most adults and, again, they are just children themselves.

You know, you can't say that about EVERY teen mother, some can actually take care of their kids. and you shouldn't care, if people choose to have sex and get pregnant, that's on them.
