FYI there are different degrees of Down Syndrome, and some people with Down Syndrome can actually function quite normally. Anyway, Jesus is there for everyone and many Down Syndrome individuals have the capacity to understand what that means.

This is like a riddle but yes, everyone sins, since Adam... except Jesus - that is why his sacrifice allows us to be forgiven.
Down Syndrome people are wonderful - they are part of a broken, sinful world. God did not intend for these imperfections in people but the sin of man has brought them. How will God judge them, and the stillborn, etc? I believe the God I know will give new bodies and wholeness to them in heaven.

I know a 12 year old child that has down syndrome that accepted Christ, and it was beautiful. This little girl is the very humble and loves her Lord. By the way, none of us are normal my friend- that is why we need Jesus- how do you believe in Jesus- accept Christ as payment for your sin.

The flesh is sinful, there is o way for it not to be ecause when Adam sinned everything from that point on had a fallen nature. Remember when Adam and Eve fell, and they realized there nakedness and were ashamed. It wasn't because they were physically naked. It was that the had lost there perfect bodies, and were given over to flesh bodies of curruption. But God has counted ALL as dead in Adam, and will throught the ages count ALL as alive in Christ.

Good question. I don't think anyone knows the answer to that question (though it sounds like a question the pharisees or Saduccees might have asked), except god (assuming he exists).
Judging from other things jesus said, he would probably answer (regarding dying for the alleged sins of DS people): "All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given" (Matthew 19:11).
If god exists, it will be up to him who will be saved and who won't, and not what we think.

The reason a normal person like you may have trouble believing in the Christ is because you are only being fed half of the message.
There is so much more then just the forgiveness of your sins to the message of Jesus.
I assume that your question is sincere so I will attempt to answer. BE OPEN.
You show tremendous insight by asking' "Could a deaf down-syndrome person sin? I doubt it. Who doesn't know isn't wrong."
A hidden spiritual definition of righteousness is “one who does not know sin.” This parallels your comment concerning the down-syndrome child.
(For your own sake, try to follow this thread all the way through before you disagree with any of it. Understand first, then reason)
For the sake of argument accept the following as true.
Every thought, feeling, belief and word is creative in your reality. Everything you experience in your outward reality is but a reflection of your inner state of consciousness.
Eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was the original sin and the cause of the fall from grace and the reason for man being expelled from the Kingdom.
The reason this is true is because when we judge evil or sin and embrace its reality with our minds we actually create it in our world. First it exists in our minds then it comes back to us in the outward reality to feed. We open the door to “evil” with our consciousness.
The message of Jesus is the remission of sin and evil by faith. The state of Christ is the state of divine love. Like the state of the down-syndrome child you described. Not knowing sin. Being in the state of consciousness of man before the fall. The message is not only forgiveness of your personal sins but it is the attainment of the Spirit of God, the indwelling Christ that does not judge anything as evil but sees the inherent love of God in all things.
It would not surprize me terribly if after death when the truth becomes clearer, that what we consider normal is in fact defective and what we call retarded is closer to the ideal in some respects.
Remission of sin is achieved by one who achieves the nature of Christ by Seeing no evil, hearing no evil and speaking no evil, through faith. That is the full message that is not taught by many and understood by fewer still.
All that is, is of God. We are but drops in the ocean of his infinite love and light. How dare we judge any of it as evil. We do not have that capacity or that right. Only God judges. All is but for us to learn to achieve the divine nature of Love.
Call it the indwelling spirit of Christ, Cod consciousness attained to faith, Krishna consciousness, Buddha consciousness, or the perfect alignment of the 10 sefirot all these descriptions point to the same state of divine love indwelling in man.
“Isn’t it a pity?”* All we need to do is open our eyes and see the beauty of love that surrounds us.
Blessings and peace to all,
All in all,

What you seem to be thinking is that we sin, therefore we are sinners. That isn't what it is. We are sinners, therefore we sin. The sins are only a symptom. It's important to understand that if you really want to understand this.
It's our nature that needed to be dealt with.

Excellent question, though I'm not a christian. Now, in the context of religion, I guess that their illness is no sin of theirs as God made them that way.
