Not in hide and seek. I was walking to the bus stop today and i saw this girl i used to know back in highschool, she had seen me a second before and was trying to hide behind a tree. I felt really lame, i was going to say hi to her but then i got angry and was like WHATEVER, BTCH. Has this ever happened to you? Why do people act like this? Does this mean your a lame person?

nope not at all. i actually am the hider sometimes, and its never because i dislike the other person, i swear. its usually because I dont feel like making small talk, or else just not in the mood to speak with anybody, and dealing with it. I cant say id ever hide behind a tree, thats kinda wierd. if i think they may have seen me, i just bite the bullet and say hi. I swear im not a huge btch, im an introvert BIG difference. please do not take offense to this kind of thing, instead, be happy you didnt have to listen to how her life is going now, where she works blah blah blah. cuz im guessing you dont really care anyways- i know i never really do.
Just by the fact that you wouldve said hi shows youre really nice, not lame. lets take a moment to laugh about how bad she is at hiding, and how funny it is that she was caught!

No this does not make you a lame person. Sometimes people hide because they are shy or don't feel up to a conversation at the moment.

If they have tried to hide from me, and succeeded, then HOW would I KNOW if they tried to hide from me if I never saw them?

If they have tried and FAILED... then how would I know they tried, and failed?

As for your situation, why did you get angry? Why did you take offense to the girl trying to avoid you? Maybe it's your anger that she was trying to avoid? If you're not friends with this girl, what "skin off your nose" is it for you? Maybe this girl has her own problems, and it's not really you she's hiding from. If there's no problem, then it's best to just let it go...but don't HATE her for it!

Have a polite day.

Try not to take what she did personally. Sometimes I avoid talking to someone I know because I feel fat, ugly and/or I don't like my hair. I've also avoided people I know because I feel embarrassed because the last time I saw them I know I made a fool out of myself. Women are odd like that sometimes, so try to forget about it. I really don't think what she did was meant as anything against you.
