Pamper yourself... go for a "Spa day"!!! Men can take advantage of a spa-treatment just as readily as women can!
Be kind to yourself. You will hurt for some time. You are actually going through a grieving process... you are grieving the loss of your relationship, that was "a big part" of your life.
It will take time for you to heal... and take as long as you need to do so. In the meantime, be good to yourself.... eat some "comfort foods," too... why do you think they're called COMFORT FOODS?
Don't be afraid of the pain you feel... it won't kill you. You can grow stronger from it, too. But don't close yourself off to a new relationship in the future. Your life will always be richer for sharing it with someone rather than living your life alone.
Have a great day.

aww sorry *~* well going and getting 'wild' usually stirs trouble, lol, so best just take the sadness and just 'love on urself' for a while and see if u can shake it off or be able to move on after some time. sorry that sounded dirty, but giving urself some love helps too. lol
sounds like she wasn't interested in u anymore, or she had some other prospect. *~* sorry :( so after u love on urself a lil bit (@10 times), go do something that u always like to do.. (besides sex of course). lol :O) thats when people run into new people unexpectedly, and ur outlook finally changes again, good luck :)

I am sorry about your girlfriend and you. But first be good to yourself. Go out and spend lots of money on you and buy yourself some new clothes! It will make you feel like a new man. When and if she calls you again try starting all over with "just communicating" like a friend.

Sack up and stop your crying. haha just kidding.
Sorry I dont know. Staying friends wont help though. I dont know how it is for a guy.
The best thing for me as a woman is to cut off all contact then maybe try to be friends a couple years after the fact. But no contact.

The best way to heal a broken heart is to accept it as it is, and pray. Let time heal the wounds of your broken heart. And love again, as if you did not experience being heart broken.

It sounds cliche, but time. You need time to heal, and time to get used to being an individual, rather than part of a couple.
You will get there. It is probably really hard now, but just give it time.

The best way to heal a broken heart is to give it time. Talk to your friends. Go out to the movies, shoot pool, go bowling, and keep yourself busy. Best of luck to you!

i'm so sorry about it. try to go out with your friends, always get busy. when you feel that memories are getting you, go for running with some active music on or practise sports. don't go to the same place you used to be with her, don't listen to the same music that you used to listen to it with her. and try to avoid talking about the whole thing as much as possible.
after a while you will get over it and even when you go to your favorite place or hear her favorite music won't hurt any more, at least it won't be that bad.
i know about it because i'm in the same situation as you are and it's working for me so far.
good luck. i wish you get over it
