According to their website, about 0.5% of the cats using Revolution in the clinical trials experience stomach upset..
"Other signs observed rarely (≤0.5% of 1743 treated cats
and dogs) included vomiting, loose stool or diarrhea with
or without blood, anorexia, lethargy, salivation, rapid
breathing, and muscle tremors."
Was this the first time you've used Revolution on him? If so, and this stomach upset has been going on for the last week, I would call the vet's phone number to see if any emergency instructions were left on a recorded message. Then call the emergency number and see if they will give you phone advice without an examination.
It may be the stomach upset is not related to the Revolution, but if that is the only change, I would suspect it.
Even though there is such a minute chance of the Revolution causing stomach problems, it does exist. Their systems are as delicate as ours. I took a medicine once that had about this same ratio for stomach upset and sure enough, I was in that 1%!
I have attached information from Revolution4Cats website and a patient information sheet from Dr Foster & Smith. The active drug in Revolution is selamectin.
Purrs for you and kitty.

Are you looking a good brand of food? Or are you trying to figure out something to be a quick fix until they can go back on what they were eating? If you are looking for a good food Nature's Variety Prairie, this food has montmorillonite clay which is an edible clay that can help with a cat with a touchy stomach. (think TUMS effect, or similar) and this is a great food overall Felidae is a really good one that isn't too outrageous price wise Newman's Own has a really good one, and I think it can be found at some grocery stores believe it or not Wellness is always good, but my cats liked the canned food and didn't ever act excited about the dry Eagle Pak Holistics is good Innova is always good, and it has a lot of meat -like a higher amount than most which can either make your cat more interested in eating it or have stomach problems Try those and Good Luck if you just wanted a quick fix sorry for going so far off track

Revolution does have systemic action, as it kills intestinal roundworms. I'm thinking the vomiting is not to do with the Revolution because a) I've never heard of a stomach upset as a response to any flea treatment b) I've never heard of any adverse reaction to Revolution and c) if the Revolution caused this, it would have happened within 24 hours of applying the stuff, not a week later!
I think the vomiting is unrelated personally. If it's a stomach upset, then the food thrown up will be undigested. If the cat continues to vomit, get it to a vet - any vet should have emergency provision, they can't just leave a town with no veterinary assistance while they bugger off on holiday!

Our cats often have 2 or 3 days of vomiting after dinner (wet food) after we give them a flea treatment. I know it upsets their stomachs a bit, but I still think it's better than a flea infestation on them and us. Have you tried giving him some catnip to munch on? We give ours a tablespoon or so of dried catnip. It helps our cats regain their appetite... they seem to need food to help settle the acid in their stomachs.

that's possible. cats incessantly groom themselves by licking. so, the flea med is maybe messing up his insides a little. just keep the water accessible. don't worry too much.
ok. you said he was eating. that's good. don't forget the water.
