I went to this party and somehow we ended up in a rough giant dogpile. I'm bruised from head to toe, and I have a few bite marks. How can I remove them? For that matter, how do I remove a hicky?

How come I never get invited to parties like that. Even squares need a giant dogpile once in a while.

Anyway.

To make a bruise go away faster, put ice on it until you can't feel the ice anymore, then let the area warm up, and repeat until you lose interest.

Bruises basically heal by your circulation taking away the damaged cells, and ice drives the blood away, then warming it up to normal temperature brings in fresh blood.

Call me for the next dogpile, ok? I'll bring the ice.

Ooo Ooo! I know this one hahaha....Thank YOU high school.

The best thing to do is take a washcloth, turn on the water as hot as you can stand it, and put it on the hickey while its still soaking wet, and as soon as it cools the littlest bit, stick it back in the water and put it back on the mark. Alternate this every few seconds with taking something like a pen cap and rubbing it on the mark. Then do the hot wet washcloth again. It doesn't feel really good, but it WILL make the marks go away after about 10 minutes of doing it.

only time will tell on when those marks will go away. However there are a few techniques to 'help' the healing process. A nice hot bath will help relax the muscles and get the blood flowing again. While taking a bath softly rub around the bruised areas. Start as close as you can to the center of the bruise without actually touching the tender spot. Glide your fingers outward -away- from the bruise.

To help conceal these bruises and hickeys I would suggest M.A.C's studio finish concealer. It runs about $15 and is a great concealer. Good luck!

You have a few BITE marks!!!! I hope your skin was not broken because this is a vehicle for disease. I don't know how you can remove the hicky and the bruises, but, I certainly hope that, when you look at them, you will realize this was silly, immature behavior.

hickes n bruises are broken blood vessels and either gently massage or even use a spoon that has been in the freezer for a while and place backside of spoon on the area, dont know exactly what it does but it seems to take the edge off of it. i myself am a hickey freak, i love em, and i wish there was something I COULD DO to make em stay longer, now, do u have any ideas?

Yes I have some ideas. If you just want to cover the spot you can use Dermablend which you can find at Macys or you can use Kevyn Aucoin foundation (which is like a little pot like a concealer) sold at Neiman Marcus.

If you want to cover the entire leg, there's this fabulous product from Lancome, it's like a foundation but it won't rub off, not even with water. To take it off you have to use soap and water and one of those shower gloves, it's called "Star Bronzer". (IAt the same time it makes your legs look nicely tanned).

put ice on the bruises for 15 minutes... take it off and put it back on after 15 minutes. It will make the bruises go away faster.

for the bite marks? umm idk... is it open wound? wash it with soap and water then put a bandaid with anti biotic stuff on it. If its just marks then just leave it alone, it will go away.

hickies... well maybe icing it will work. Put concealer on it if its still showing.
