I try to help others understand what they are needing to know through my sharing of my education and experience. I have learned many things from many people all over YA, and I am thankful for that which I otherwise would not have known. Shalom.

Well, this may sound weird, but looking at some of the questions on the R & S section has forced me to get in the Word and remind myself what the Bible says about particular topics. It has prompted me to share my faith, and helped me understand how my beliefs differ from those of other religions and denominations. It has confirmed my own beliefs, allowed me to hopefully be an encouragement to other Christians reading the posts, and possibly even help someone struggling with doubts and serious questions.
It's definitely NOT a substitute for worship or structured Bible study, but it's not a total waste either!

I don't expect Answers to fulfill my spiritual needs. It's not a church, after all.

In my case, I am directed to answer questions in this forum. My need is to serve others who have spiritual needs.

It's very presumptuous of me, but I want to teach. My views are somewhat radical for my religion, I'm sure. I can't be a priest or enter the contemplative life, so I come here.

well, i get to vent and express myself
thats always a good start
then I get exposed to the viewpoints of others
often some challenging and thoughtfull questions even, usually not though

It helps me realize that there are others on the planet that think as I do...that religion is a bunch of bullsh1it organized by and for lemming-like kool-aid drinking peoplesheep....
