my girlfriend isnt bi. but the question was brought up if i thought her kissing another girl whenever was cheating.
i think it is. i mean just cause she cant get pregnant or anything doesnt mean its ok.
i said, if we were at a party or something and we were drunk and she asked me and i said i didnt care then i wouldnt mind. but if the situation came up and i wasnt there, i wouldnt definatly not be ok with that.
her only response was "none of my other bf's ever had a problem with it"
am i in the wrong for thinking this way?
i need some input...

Girls who make out at parties are doing it to turn on other guys.

OK . in this situation , you are the one who is correct . it's just like cheating no matter what the gender , if you're kissing on another person who isn't your bf/gf , you're cheating . she should only want to kiss you and no one else , including people of the same sex .

The reason it's cheating is because you think it is. Different couples have different boundaries; some other guys may be perfectly okay with their girlfriends doing that. But you're not, and that's what matters. That's something that you are obviously not comfortable with, and she should respect that.

No you are completely right. I think cheating as being any sexual contact with another person. But if you are ok with her doing it if you say so then she might think that it would be ok otherwise. If you are going to say it is cheating than it would probably be best to not let her to do it even if you are ok with it.

Heh. I asked my boyfriend that. He said if he's there to watch (and/or join in) then it's just fine but if not... Then he wouldn't be happy about it.
If she's kissing girls because she likes it then it's cheating. If it's an experimental thing with your permission and just a once in a lifetime thing then I think it's okay.

I always try to completely turn the situation around and see how i would feel (or in this case, how she would feel)...would she like it if you were kissing another person and she didnt know it (whether it were another girl or guy)? Chances are, she wouldn't like it, so therefore it isn't ok for her to do it.

She IS bi and she is hinting around.When one person in a relationship becomes intimate with any gender outside of that relationship emotionally, physically etc it's cheating.

yes, it is considered cheating. just because it isn't with the sex/gender she prefers, it is still cheating. and the whole drunk thing, that wouldn't really be fair because you were drunk so you wouldn't be thinking straight.
