We are both freshmans in high schools. I've been talking to him for a little bit more than a month now. I seem to make him laugh and he said that i was funny. But i don't know if he likes me. And he doesn't talk to me first, i have to start the conversation. What should i do so that he would like me?

Keep it up, you're doing just fine!

I guarantee he already likes you. At your age, a guy is extremely complimented by any girl who even says hello to him.

Keep talking, keep making him laugh. If you stop, you'll break his heart.

Be yourself, flirt, invite him to join you in a group outing with some friends or just by yourself. Some guys in this age group are shy when it comes to making the first move. He may already like you, he just doesn't know how to take the next step. If the chemistry is not there, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to "make" him like you. The only thing you can do is put yourself out there and hope for the best and if it doesn't work out then maybe you were meant to be friends. I know that's hard to hear but its better to accept his feelings for whatever they may be.

All i have to say girl is don't rush. Keep being his best friend ! Friendship first then a relationship ! K..... that sounds easier than it really is but if he is mature enough then he will say something flirty or something idk tell me something that he says ... I'm a professional at guy translating haha. I have a brother. Well anyways email me what he said and i will tel you what he means. O and try to once not start the convo give him time to be like o she is on i want to talk to her kk. Patients ! well anyways the fact that he said that you were funny means that you are already close just not close enough yet :)

Freshman boys aren't the best at expressing interest, even if they are interested. I would suggest talking to him about him interests.. and finding out what you have in common. Discuss sports, video games, etc. Trust me.. that seems the only way to get a freshman boys attention.. (my younger brother is a freshman.. so I know).

If you two share interests, he will become more open and more likely to talk to. So try that and see where it goes. =]

Look at him a lot. Most guys like most girls, and if you give him the smallest of hints, he'll start to suspect that you like him. Unless he's a TOTAL bigshot, he's probably interested in you. Smile and look him in the eyes...
As far as conversation initiation, don't comment on his lack of doing so. It may piss him off. If you're afraid of things getting awkward, you can actually make a list in your head of things to talk about before you start talking. After you talk to him enough, hopefully he'll open up.

you can't force anyone to like you.... but how do u know if he likes u or not? you both are probably waitin for each other to tell one another how u feel... so the only way u will know if he likes u the way u like him or maybe even more is to jus asked! be the bigger person and step up to the plate! and whether he tells you yes or no will obviously tell u how he feels about u and u can let him know how u feel about him

You shouldn't do anything other than be yourself. Maybe ask him to see a movie or something with you.

If you start being someone your not then your relationship is based on a lie which is never good.

Okay. I want you to think about something.
Do you honestly think you will end up marrying this guy?
The answer is most liekly no.
So, why would you date him?
Personally I feel that God has chosen one specific person for each person in the world.
Dating is unecessary.
