I am a gay male and I know that it is not a choice. Nobody would choose to be discriminated against or harassed like this!

No, of course it's not a choice. Why would anyone choose to be discriminated against or be made to live a much more difficult life due to society's intolerance?
It's insane that anyone would believe that.
I mean, who can control who they find attractive?

On the one hand I think it's a choice, in that you do not have to give in to a temptation, even a strong one.
On the other hand, I think that it is a spiritual condition. It seems to be something that many homosexual people are oppressed with from infancy, which is why they say they were "born gay". In reality they were born with a spiritual problem. There are others who get into homosexuality because they have become jaded with other lifestyles and homosexuality is the next step for them. These are the people God is talking about in that passage in Romans that someone already mentioned. These people choose to live wickedly, rebelling against God, and God simply takes His hand off their life and lets them go. They then run headlong into all sorts of immorality.
Either way, I believe homosexuality is a sin. God has said so and I will not say otherwise. But I don't harass or attack gay people.
***EDIT***
Ashleigh - those verses you quoted weren't from the KJV! I use that version, that verse doesn't read "male prostitutes", I am pretty sure in the KJV it actually says "effeminate". Just so's ya know!

Yes. It is a sin like adultery. No one must commit adultery. Therefore, no one must live a homosexual lifestyle. I truly believe people have those feelings. But people have the choice not to act on them physically.Always remember God will NEVER give us a burden we can't bear. He also promises to never put us in a situation where there is no way of escape.

No, it isn't a choice, who would choose to be gay with the way people (especially very religious family members) can be about it?

Choosing to act on homosexual urges is a choice, just like it is a choice for the rest of us to act on heterosexual urges. But the urges are just that: urges. They are things are body does that we can't control. (really, if you were in control of it, it wouldn't be much of an urge, would it?)
Asking a homosexual to ignore his urges is as difficult as asking a heterosexual to be celebate, and i think most of us can imagine the challenge of that: doable, but very difficult. And asking a homosexual to act hetero just disgusts me. Would you want a relationship with someone who you have no interest in, regardless of gender?

Leviticus 20:13 - "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 - "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

no i don't. the idea that someone can choose who they are attracted to is preposterous. i didn't choose to like men, yet i do. there is not enough people in the world who love eachother as it is, that i am all for it if 2 people of the same sex fall in love. who am i to deny another person happiness? anyone who says anything else is basically an ignorant, intolerant dolt.

Well, i honestly think its a preference. Its a sexual preference. Some guys prefer girls, others are into other guys. Some like both. Some girls like guys, others like girls.
It really depends on the person and what they think is attractive.
Thats my opinion.
What do you think?

Homosexuality is a choice. Scripture makes it very clear that homosexuality is a sin.
