I want to get a couple of rolling stones magazine cover blown up to the size of a standard poster. But I want them to look good!
Where is a crediable place to get this done and about how much do you think they would cost. I know several places are going to be different prices but if you had ot guestimate, what would you think?

Thanks

Aside from the legality of copying such images, you arent going to get a quality image unless you stand a ways back from the poster. An image printed with a offset press is quite unlike a photograph which is continuous tone. What do I mean by this? Take a magnifying glass and look at the cover of your rolling stones magazine and then take a look at a photo. The magazine is made up of overlapping layers which create rosettes. When you blow up the magazine cover this will be more pronounced, so what you will have to do is blur the image in photoshop otherwise you will end up with a really ugly looking image.

I would think they would not do it because the covers are copyrighted by Rolling Stone

Find out the name of the photographer and write to them asking if you can buy a poster print.

Please don't steal. It's not nice.
