Most of your respondents either don't know the answer or are guessing or are just being lewd.

God saw favor in Mary. Because of that, He chose her to be the human mother of Jesus. God's Word tells us that the Holy Spirit "over shadowed" Mary and she became pregnant instantly. No sex of ANY kind was involved.

Mary wasn't perfect, she was merely an obedient girl in her village. She remained a virgin until Christ was born. Then she had other children with Joseph, her lawful husband. James was one of their children.

Jesus is a known, historical figure. He existed. Of that there is no doubt. And the very fact of His existence is MIRACULOUS.

Those of you who are unbelievers, don't HAVE to accept that, but your disbelief doesn't change Truth. Truth is an absolute.

God bless!

The spirit of God is the life of angels and human [ and every living thing ],

Ecc.11:5 As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all. Eccl.3:19-21; 12:7; [ for God to resurrect the dead Psm.104:29,30 ];

Jesus was in heaven, the first being created by God in his image. John 3:13-16; 17:1-26; Acts 2:27-35; Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:14;

All God had to do was place the spirit of Jesus so he could develope as a fetus and be born a baby to Mary.

She spent a brief but splendid moment with a beautiful young stud full of hormones named Gabriel. She got pregnant.
Joseph, much older than her, was a good guy and decided to raise the kid as his own.
The rest are just nice fairy tales dear...

According to Scripture, Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit of God. He is the creater of all things, He is capable of doing as he wishes. The sin trait of mankind is passed down from the father. Even as Adam and Eve were being expelled from the Garden, God made the first recorded prophecies in Gen chapter 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and HER seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Dosn't say Hers and Mans seed together, just her seed. This is the first mention of one to come that would deliver them from sin. Jesus is all thru the Bible if ya look,LOL

The sin trait is passed thru man's seed therefore if Jesus was to be God in the flesh, it could not come from the seed of man. God created in her a perfect set of male half genes and thru this work of God Jesus was born sinless and could live a sinless life.

I think that Mary and Joseph were messing around, but no penetration took place. But anywho, when Joseph ejaculated, he did so close to her vagina and those little buggers just swam up and got her pregnant. When they realized that she was pregnant, they came up with the story that god did it.

The church forbids that to be known. Jesus still has family out there today, and if we knew who they were wouldn't we rather take communion from them instead of a priest. Afterall, they would be descendants of Jesus.
The popularity of the church would go down, and how could they survive without our monies?

God used three drops of blood from her heart to form Christ's body and placed Him in her womb, creating of her, a small bit of Heaven.

The Hebrew (original version of Bible) word for Virgin means young woman, not a woman that has never had sexual relations. So, probably her husband Joseph

She was sleeping around on Joseph, came up with a wacky story about some holy spirit boinkin her, and managed to convince Joseph it was true....now here we are debating about the resulting fairy tales 2000 years later.

It is interesting to note that the words in Aramaic that described Mary in the original text of the bible can mean either "virgin" or "young girl", and it more often meant the latter of the two.... Sounds better if she was a virgin though, huh?
