Personally, I don't breed dogs that cannot/will not breed naturally... such things seem to be inherited and run in certain lines and I do not see that it does the breed any good.

First off, if you are asking YA about breeding, it is a clear indication that you are not a fit breeder! Pregnancy can happen without a tie, but I would really recommend you fix your dogs now before you have puppies that you wont know what to do with!

They do not have to tie for a pregnancy to take place, it's just something that sorta helps more or less guarantee it will. Are they actually doing the deed, are his goods getting in the right spot and actually getting in? If he is just humping her and it's not going where it needs to you may need to help out to point it in the right direction.
