Having a pit bull does NOT mean your life is in danger! Pit Bulls are great animals, and his showing his teeth is no way an aggressive stance. I knew a golden retriever who would smile so that you could see his front teeth...and he was a bug sweety!
Please dont let this breeds bad rep bog you down with inhibitions!

Seriously, grow up and get over it. If you are projecting negative energy and hate to the dog, it will pick up on that energy. I'm not saying that the energy is gonna cause the dog to attack, but if you want to befriend the dog, you can't secretly hate it. Pit bulls are not always bad dogs! Why are you so worried? Probably because you are ignorant and uneducated... Has the dog even shown ANY signs of aggression? Just because you've seen his "fangs" doesn't mean sh*t! He's not growling at you, or showing aggressive behavior! He's having a good time with his owner! PLEASE get over your stereotypical mindset and accept that you need to judge this dog on his individual personality.

It doesnt matter what type of dog it is. I have a pit bull that I would trust with anything. She is a big baby- very sweet, affectionate, and non-violent. It has more to do with their upbringing than the breed. But if you know this dog is aggressive- do not put yourself in a position to make it feel it has to defend itself or protect her. Do not go around its food- do not even play like you are hurting your girlfriend (it may try to "save" her), do not put any body part over its head, etc.

Any dog can be trained to attack or not. Give some love and attention to the dog. Offer your hand, don't look him straight in the eye, this might sound silly, but lay on the floor with your belly up (of course then he will think he rules over you) give him some nice treats, pet him. scratch his ears, and brush his coat. In other words, kiss up to the dog!

dude you'll be alright just make sure to be slow around him ya know no sudden movements but bend down at the knees to his level and with your hand palm up slowly let him sniff it or lick it or whatever he will do but if he growls just back away a little eventually he'll warm up to you oh and try putting treats in your pants or pockets so like he'll be able to smell them that way when ever he sees you in the future he'll connect you to treats and what dog doesn't love treats

Grow up. The more negative energy you project the more the dog will pick up on it and not understand what's going on which then makes him nervous. Has he shown any signs of aggression towards you yet? Have any history of aggression? If not then stop being a moron.

Leave get out! Don't say it's a bad comment. I fear for my life every time I see one without a leash. I've only seen one kid mauled by a dog and it was done by a pit bull. It only takes one for me to be scared of that type of dog. That's why I own a wiener dog. He won't rip the skin off of your scalp.

Just don't be an idiot and you will be perfectly safe. Pitbulls are not ticking time bombs just waiting for someone to attack.
