I don't know about anything "breathtaking" because I think most interviews are the same. Dress appropriately and arrive a little bit early. Do some resarch about the company. Have some questions prepared to ask the interviewer. Be ready with a presentation on your background and career. Listen and pay attention to ask those questions that you need answered. And send a thank you note after the interview, so get the business cards of the people you interview with to get correct spellings of names, email addresses, titles and possibly direct dial phone numbers for follow up about the interview.

Nervous? You won't be if you prepare. I can't tell what kind of job you are interviewing for, so I won't know exactly what to expect, but you can search on "interview questions" or "behavioral questions". There are standard questions like; What do you see as your strengths and your weaknesses"? Behavioral questions go a step further; "Give me an example of a time one of your projects was "derailed" and you were still able to produce the desired results?
Interviewers are looking to probe in the following areas: Integrity, Accountable to commitments, Team Player, communication, creative, planning & execution, and functional competence.
Think of several "stories" or examples in previous work experince or life experiences that you can use as positive examples. Have these "stories" at the top of your head and able to use them when the right questions are asked. Use real world experinces and examples and I guarentee the interviewer will remember you from the rest of the candidates.
