Hummm what about doctrines of history or mathematics? "Doctrine" simply means teaching.

American Heritage Dictionary doc·trine (dŏk'trĭn) n.

1. A principle or body of principles presented for acceptance or belief, as by a religious, political, scientific, or philosophic group; dogma.
2. A rule or principle of law, especially when established by precedent.
3. A statement of official government policy, especially in foreign affairs and military strategy.
4. Archaic Something taught; a teaching.

Because the children are our future, we need to prepare them for a world filled with lies and evil. What you mean by doctrine I cannot say for sure, but I will teach my children about God and I will help them to understand how to choose good over evil.

Whitney who? Whitney Houston? Who are you quoting, and what is the context?

I'm sorry, if my choice is between teaching my children according to the Word of God or the "word" according to that coked-up woman who lets Bobby Brown slap her around, I believe I will stick to the KJV, thank you very much.

Not that I'm judging or anything--just going by her own interviews and such.

Yes, they are our future.

Why, then, do you pollute your children's minds with hate towards Christians and other religious people?
Why do you do that?

You are teaching your children to disrespect other beliefs.
How sad!

I would rather fill children's minds with the love of Jesus rather than with the hate that you have in your heart.
