you hear about some of these people that say they will not eat any fruits or vegetables, im wondering if thats true and if they could survive on just meats, breads, cheese, etc, could they?

Are you talking about my son???? You descripe him down to a T. Not evem his teacher in school can get him to eat veggies. He wont anything thats veggie or fruit related. However i can sneak in some through smoothies or carot puree in the tomato sauce . Maybe some banana in banana bread. I however have to supplement him with Multivitamins.
He eats loads of cheese, cereal and milk.

Survive, possibly;-} but become obese. Stay healthy? NO!
It is well established that we are meant to be omnivores.
Our bodies have adapted to need a balanced diet.
Latest research shows fruits & vegetables prevent cancer.
Oriental diets, which are low in red meats are healthiest.
Fish are an important part of the equation too.

If you take some vitamins like Centrum to help make up some of the vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that you are missing out on.

They can survive but might have vitamin deficiency

Sure, for a while.... let the colon cancer, and the heart disease, catch up with them.... then check back.
