Im not asking any specific question. I just want to know what peoples opinions about global warming and climate change is. Is it really happening? Is the sun just fluctuating and sending out more heat? Is it part of the Earths Evolution? Or are the gases in our Ozone Layer doing it? What do you think about it?

Is it happening - yes.

Is the Sun fluctuating - yes, for 30 year's it's cooled very slightly, not enough to make any significant change to our climate. Longer term it causes appreciable warming and cooling of the planet, it last happened in the early part of last century.

Part of Earth's evolution - yes and no. The climate of the planet constantly changes, it's been much hotter and colder in the past. It's caused by a series of natural cycles, being cyclical they're also regular and predictable, at this moment in time the effect of natural cycles is negligible, in the longer term it's one of slight warming

Gases in the ozone layer - Not specifically in the ozone layer but gasses throughout the atmosphere - the greenhouse gases. They have the ability to absorb certain types of heat, the more of these gases the more heat is absorbed (simplified explanation).

Global warming is more than likely a natural 'cycle' of the earth which is being speeded up by mans over population of the planet. Why natural? There was an ice age millions of years ago and it all melted.Man was not around then to influence the climate. So what caused all the ice to melt? One thing is certain,if the heat goes up then more CO2 will be released as natural resevoirs disintegrate(siberian tundra is a good example)As for sea levels rising by vast amounts this is pure non science.Try this yourself and see the result.Put 4 icecubes in a glass then fill to the brim with water.Let the ice cubes melt. Will the cup overflow or will it remain the same? Answer:-The water level will remain the same.So all those saying that sea ice melting will raise the water level are speaking out of their a## holes !
Land locked ice may cause a slight,v.v slight rise but there is more sea ice than land.
The only way to benefit mankind in general is to halt de-forestation,find alternatives to oil and actually decrease the population explosion

here is what we know: Blacktop (roads and parking lots) and buildings heat cities; Air pollution causes lung (and other) diseases, deforestation causing more destruction (duststorms, hurricanes/cyclones all increasing deforestation) and destroys the ozone layer while heating earth surface; fires cause mud slides, deforestation and pollution-more heating surface temperatures; CFC's destroy the ozone layer raising skin cancer rates and killing off endanger species and increased surface temperatures; lighting produces ozone near the surface and raises air pollution levels-more heating; the suns increased magnetic field are causing increases in earthquakes (more destruction), volcanoes (wow, great distruction), sun spots and leading to more heating. Cars, airplanes, ships and most electricity production causes pollution, warmer temperatures and destruction. But most of this is in our control outside of the sun (Volcanoes, sun spots and earthquakes are part of the sun magnetic strength): We need to fix our part! That is why I founded CoolingEarth.org an geoengineering web sight. The USA Mayor's are on the right track, we can have control and economic growth. The fed gov is way out of step-even Congress. We also need a pollution surcharge to balance the field and advance new technologies. Where we are with global warming has never happened before. CO2 has never lead to temperature change, but temperature change has led to increases in CO2. The models are having to be made with little evidence!

If you wish to receive grant money for climate research, do you think that you'll get a cheque if you say," I need the grant, as I think that I can prove that the figures that the current paradigm is based upon are wrong" ? The great environmentalist, David Bellamy, has been silenced, and refused airtime. There is still no proven causative link between the amount of Co2 in the atmosphere, and an increase in global temperatures. The WWWF photographs of the polar bears swimming were taken in the Arctic summer; when the ice cap partially melts, as they couldn't get up to photograph in the winter. The ice was too thick! The East-Anglian uni research figures. "Oh! The figures don't match our expectations. Oh well. Keep quiet. Because we know that we are right." When the belief, and the faith is more important than squarely facing the legitimate doubts of a lot of non grant-supported scientists, science has been superceded by religious zealots. As Oliver Cromwell colourfully said." I pray thee, in the bowels of Christ, consider that thou mayest be wrong."

No of course not ,to skeptics and deniers it is mass hysteria and figments of millions of peoples imagination .
so you got nothing to worry about
God rules America and will protect you
so it wont happen there .

However the price of beer may go up ,because of potable water shortage
and food prices may rise because the third world slave countries got lots of problems due to Global Warming.
on e degree rise in temperature means 10% crop loss-

In Chiapas ,and Tabasco in Mexico .more then a million people became homeless overnight with water coming up to their roofs ,because of rains from super evaporation from the forests, this had never happened before.
Millions of animals died and the crocodile ,who are abundant in that area were delighted.

In India 3000 people died because of super storms .
Right now the average death toll annually is 150.000 due to Global warming
a few years ago a whole bunch in France as well.

these figures are already out of date and are expected to double soon.

In Northern China millions of people are running for their lives because regular dust storms so far have buried 900 villages under the sand
and the whole of northern China is turning into a dessert.

The Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year all around the edges ,like a slow burning fire shriveling up their neighbors

In the Kalahari huge rivers have dried up and thousand of species are gone due to their habitats disappearing

So you see all is well you may have polar bears soon in America ,when the north pole is gone ,looking for a home ,as the bollweavel sings.
so that is the good news you can add another specie to your list ,instead of deleting hundreds that are disappearing

the biggest changes are invisible at micro biotic levels species are becoming extinct ,others are multiplying ,this affects the insect populations that follow ,and changes in that affect all that follows in the food chains ,All life is interrelated of both flora and fauna,

And we as being on the top of the food chain are always the last to know

when they killed all the mosquito's around the Danube for example all of the life in the woods disappeared ,they were a vital link in the food change.like the disappearing bees will drastically affect pollination ,some of that is part of our food production

So Global warming has its toll there are incidents all over the world ,

But dont worry not in America ,and look on the bright side ,this will save the globalists of your New world order on bombs

if you look you can always find something positive in disasters

We are destroying our planet. if we don't do something soon it's not going to be here much longer. watch an inconvenient truth. i know AL gore is kind of a nerd and not a lot of people like him since he invented the Internet and made out with his wife at the Dunc. but the movie sheds some well needed energy conserving light on the subject.

If global warming is true, and our grandchildren might not get to see a polar bear than who cares. i did not get to see dinosaurs!!! Plus if global warming is so apocalyptic than dont u think Al Gore would stop flying his huge gas guzzling jet!!! The whole idea is to get you worried, and to give something for people to feel good about, that they can change the world. However, i do agree with making the world safer to live in ( by cuting emissions and pollution)

yes its happening. its idiotic to look at all the pollution we make and think it will have no negative consequences on the planet. if u link up the massive amounts of pollution we make and the drastic change in the earth's activities then it is unavoidable to come to the conclusion that we are at least partially responsible.

A lot of the hype is junk science, mythology, or hysteria. Read Michael Crichton's "State of Fear."

It is real and we are causing it.

We really need to change our habits and find alternate energy sources now.

cheers.
