Our family lives around each other, so we are all very close (proximity wise). And my grandmother and her daughter, my aunt, have been fueding for nearly two years now. It's nothing like guns shooting or anything but they won't make up and get along. What happened was that my aunt accused my grandmother that her dog attacked her dog. From there they haven't been the friendliest of people. Does anyone know how to remedy this? It's getting on my nerves. I'm thinking about going to my aunt's house and speak with her, but I'm not certain what to say. My grandmother has actually tried to bring them to, but to no avail. Suggestions would be great! Thanks!!!

Ask them if thier lifes are worth a DOG???

Seems to me throwing away ones own family for an animal
is pretty petty...........

And a Mother / daughter relationship especially

BUT tell them This as the Bible says
"" AS is the Mother so is the Daughter ""

That may get thier attention somewhat !!!!!!

My best thought about this is that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink. I'd say to stay out of it and let them fight it out among themselves. I would just clearly state that you don't want to get involved because you value both of their relationships with you. You can also set the rule that the arguments are not to happen in your house and property. If they want to work out the problem, then BOTH parties must be willing to sit down together and rationally talk out the situation themselves to come up with a happy medium. If not, then so be it...let them be pissed at each other. I'm assuming that they're both adults, so they really don't have anyone else to blame except themselves for the situation.

Tell them both to grow up?
Actually I wouldn't worry about it nature has a way of taking care of its self.
If all else point out the fact to your aunt that she only has one mother, what will happen when she passes away.

well, it's almost thanksgiving isn't it? order a family turky meal, invite them over, and have a nice little reunion (friendly!), if that don't work out, then i don't know what will, because you're family, and families always stick together.

I think you should not take sides, but stay out of it. These are adults, you can't change anyone.
