I accidentally deleted all the photos that i had on my camera (498 to be exact) and i was wondering if there is a way that i can take the pictures that have been stored on my computer and place them back onto my xD memory card. I am dealing with a Mac computer. I have renamed the files, like or example instead of being titled "PB3982.jpg" i have remained them to be called such things as "BeachDay"....has this got anything to do with why they are not being able to be transferred back onto my memory card?

PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!

You should be able to put them back on. I don't have a Mac, but this is the way I often take a few photoshopped shots to the processor

This should be pretty easy - the memory card is like a little hard drive. You can put things on it or take things off.
1. Find the images on your mac.
2. Plug in your camera (with the card in it) into the mac.
3. Turn the camera on and switch it to the "view" button - usually looks like a play button on the camera.
4. Once it boots up, you should see a little camera card icon on your mac desktop.
5. Now open that icon - look for a DCIM folder and drag the images from your mac into that folder.
6. Dismount the camera the way you normally would (turn it off or drag the camera card icon into the trash on the mac desktop).

Now check your camera - you should see your images...
