Instead of resorting to any legal procedure, it is much better and easier for you to reconcile with your mother and make both of you happy. She raised you since your birth, facing indescribable hardships and difficulties and she must be expecting you to fulfill your duties towards her.Legal action will create bitterness which will be hard to forget.

If it is not in your best interest or she is an unfit mother the court probably would let you move in with your grandmother.But your still 17 and if your mother is still your legal guardian she might make you move back in with her.
