i would say i should try and convert others...but seeing how bad it just felt last time i was argued with about religion...i'd have to say i learned my lesson and i'll keep to myself and let others be.

The end results are a private matter.
Truly , each Human has the right to decide for themselves what they want.
Adam and Eve had that right, so do we.
How ever, how can you decide if you do not have a fair chance at knowing where to base your decisions from?????????????
So, I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses, WE ARE CHRISTIANS!
That is why we do not celebrate Pagan Based Holidays!
But if you do not have a choice, how then can you choose?????????
So we do not convert , YOU must decide and convert yourself.
We, just teach the bible as is, the rest is up to you, and one way or the other, you will decide for your self!!!!!!!
No strings attached.

Yes I believe that religion is a private matter, but I also that we all should have a dedication to truth.. If I can help in some small way to lead people to the truth, I will do that. I do not believe in lecturing to them or preaching to them; but I try to answer those with simple honest questions, and to correct misinformation about my faith.

I am not necessarily insulted when people try to ask me to join their religion if they're just trying to help; one person who found out that I'm an atheist asked me to join her church "so you go to hevean and not hell." She was trying to help. What I do resent is when people start yelling at me. Once, this guy was just being closed minded and trying to convert me into Christianity because of hell:
Jerk: Well, you're going to hell.
Me: That argument doesn't work on me, because I'm an Atheist, and I don't believe in hell.
Jerk: Well that means you're going to hell.
Me: But I don't care, because I'm an Atheist, and I don't believe in hell.
Jerk: That means you're going to hell.
...It got kind of boring. I honestly don't care if the fundies are right and I'm going to hell. I think people should let each other choose their religion on their own, though, because some people can become pretty jerky. It hurts me to think that some Atheists freak out when someone wishes them "Merry Christmass" instead of "Happy Holidays." I believe in freedom and acceptance of religion, and I think that if others are accepting, we Atheists should be too.

No and I resent religions that are "instructed" by "sacred" text to convert others.
I, and most heathens I know, firmly believe that religion is a personal matter. If you find yourself drawn to our path, we'll discuss our beliefs, give you references to study and let you determine if you're called by the Gods of the north or not.

It's a private matter between me and God. I think people should have the freedom to choose for themselves!

Absolutey not.Religion is a personal and private relationship, with God.I never claim my religion is superior to that of others and hate when people try to convince me about the superiority of their religious beliefs.
To me being spiritual is far more important in this religion obsessed world.

No, i do not feel the need to spread any " religious tradition " to others. But I am commanded to teach the bible. And it is up to each individual.

I feel no need to spread my spiritual tradition to others.
First, it's much to difficult for people to understand!
Second, the path is to narrow and most people would fall off of the path!
Lastly, it's an inward journey, that all the Prophets followed, and this would not set well with religious people! They are much to much set in their ways.
"Peace be always with you."

If someone wants to know my religion, I'll tell them. Otherwise, it's my business. And no, I don't want to hear about YOUR religion, either, unless I ask. And I can't imagine when I would do that unless you were a close friend, and I would probably already know.
