I must say, that is one problem that I do have with god, He's god, and his characteristics are all to human And I can not believe a being like that exists. But as a force of Nature I can accept that, but if that was it, god, wouldn't be a sentient being and therefor would not need to be worshiped.

Egoism. Mankind has a tendency to think of itself as the most important thing in the universe, dispite the knowledge that the entire earth represents less than one-billionth of a percent of the galaxy, let alone the universe.

i will not count selection what share situations i've got carried out that. i think of its purely a character flaw, human nature is greater revolved around mendacity. I recommend, if the question replaced into greater stable like: "what share situations have you ever promised to do some thing which you recognize you wouldnt do" i might answer that as human nature. No ones suitable and its in our nature to lie. yet issues ensue and you cant shop on with with the aid of with some thing. In Judaism, we talk about Midot, or attributes of G-d. It's very important to understand that it's how WE perceive G-d, and not how G-d is.
Think of it as an hourglass. We see bits of sand coming through the middle, but we don't actually know what is above the middle if we look from below. They may change as they pass through.
We use human characteristics as that's our frame of reference. We should use them with the knowledge that these characteristics are how we perceive G-d.

Because it's easier to relate to a God who has human characteristics, since we socially interact with them every day. Praying to a "force of nature" doesn't sound as practical to me.

Because it states in the bible that God made man in his image. Now simply broken down, take a look at mankind and there is your answer. God cannot be a "force of nature" when it is he that created "nature" to begin with.

It's called anthropomorphism. Anthropomorphism is the attribution of uniquely human characteristics and qualities to nonhuman beings, inanimate objects, or natural or supernatural phenomena. Animals, forces of nature, games, and unseen or unknown sources of chance are frequent subjects of anthropomorphous.

People have a hard time connecting with a Force, so they apply human traits in order to feel like they can relate to it better. This also helps with adding a point of view to the Deity and allows them to communicate with it.
