Evidence I have given you over and over again, you can ignore it as such as you do, that is always your choice.
ie: Microscope was invented in 1570 but it was given to you state of atoms and thier compositions in Al Quran 1428 years ago. So again what evidence are you calling lacking, would that be the evidence you ignore in ignorance? Makes perfect sense to me.

There are two answers to your question: One is found in the Qu'ran which means the nonelievers have been sealed upon their eyes and hearts, so they have eyes but can't see; and they have minds but can't change.

The other answer is that:
There are two ways to help people to slide easily through in life: to believe everything and to doubt everything; both ways save thinking.

There's evidence, now, that there is a genetic disposition to believing in a "higher being" (I assume you're talking about belief in a god).

Problem with using scripture to prove some things is that the understanding of some things has changed over time. For instance, the word "hysteria" comes from the belief that women were crazy because their uterus was floating around in their bodies. The solution was a hysterectomy.
When the bible was written, I'd say there was little to no understanding of genetics as we know it today...or at least the extent to which genetics affect who we are.

Usually, it's because nonbelievers need empirical evidence to support their faith in something, and by definition, no religion can offer offer empirical evidence. Religions that are based on a text require an initial belief in that text in order to 'prove' themselves. For example, "this is true, because it says so in the bible" will not sway someone who doesn't accept the infallibility of the bible.

Because of this, it's quite unlikely that you can provide a verse that will explain why nonbelievers are nonbelievers, since, from the perspective of a nonbeliever, the Bible (or other holy text) that you're sourcing is not a factual document, but a collection of mythology.

Yes. Because they have no reason to believe. God is someone else's story, and until the person telling the story can provide some evidence for truth of that story, the people who don't believe them will continue to not believe.

Please tell me you aren't going to provide some nonsense verse written by a believer making ignorant claims as to why non-believers don't believe in their religion.

Because there is enough evidence to prove the fact that all religion is based around the same concept and that others have proved that some events in the Bible are just stories copied from recent stories and stuffs.

I love Jesus and God though.

Because the so-called holy books are all written by men. Considering the current crop of "holy men" and prophets, the only wonder is that anyone believes in anything.

Save your verse. Unless you can post an untranslated version, of course.

yeah. because there is no reason to believe. its just the government trying to control you. you can have all the "evidance" you want. you can say they are true. but you have nothing to PROVE to me that he was ever alive. or ever even here.

Somebody once told me.. to look at it this way. like gods kinda like dinosaurs. and they said have you ever seen them? no. then how do you know that they were ever real..
well. duh. this is common sence. we have fossils of dinosaur bones. but not of god

theres NO real evidance that god was ever here. thats basically why people dont believe

but, since i dont believe in god that doesnt mean im evil, immortal, or stange. because i DO believe we have a higher power.

Basically.. i dont care really what youu think. i dont care if you believe in what you do. its okay. it dosnt matter.

i just dont really believe in religion at all. because they believe in stuff like the Virgin Mary. Mary DIDNT die a virgin.

I also don't like people judging me negatively just because I don't believe something that someone else tells me is true, even though their own religion says "only God can judge me". My main issue with organized religion is it's failure to adapt with the times and it's ability to leave out and manipulate certain passages of the bible with the goal of leaving as many people as possible ignorant.

For example, the Catholic church preaches that the bible says everyone is equal, but in the bible women are considered evil for not following a mans orders. The church talks about nice, obedient, Eve, who's curiousity got the best of her and she tempted Adam to eat an apple from a forbidden tree, which was an evil thing to do. The church doesn't mention Adams first wife, Lilith, who was cast aside for not obeying Adams every order. Also, the church misleads people into believing that Jesus was a white man, when he's from an Arabic region. I have a hard time believing that Mary died a virgin.

After all, she did have a husband. If i was a guy, I'd get way to horny to stay with a girlfriend that was saving herself for marriage(just being honest), so I couldn't imagine staying with a celibate wife for a lifetime. I'm sure that, just like the rest of the males, Joseph thought with his penis and not his brain and that Mary's curiousity about sex got the best of her.

I have my theories about Mary's virginity, but I'll save that.. If the Catholic church was willing to adapt it's belief to compromise with science and was willing to tell the whole truth, good and bad, then I might be willing to worship, but since that'll never happen I'll stick to believing what I want to believe and not agreeing with whatever I don't want too

you could think of it is unusual for non believers to no longer have faith in god, yet it somewhat is merely considering you probable have been taught from an early age approximately god. in case you particularly think of roughly it, If somebody the place to return as much as you for the 1st time and tell you with regard to the bible once you the place 18, there is not any way you will possibly have faith. This and the shortcoming of info.
