"Taber's Cyclopedic Medical Dictionary" is a must for all Nursing students and nurses. It's an invaluable reference book.

Nursing requires a lot of memorization because of the latin terminology used to describe various body structures, etc.

You need to continually educate yourself as a nurse. Learning never ends.

You don't have to be a math wizard, but you need to know math and algebra to some extent. You need to have a tough skin to deal with the death and disease that you will be exposed to.

first take the CNA course and work as a CNA if you like that type of work then continue on with your nursing. Nursing school is very hard. Lots of memorization, lots of reading. You could go to a college close to you and buy a Fundamentals of Nursing and a medical nursing dictionary. If you can read these and understand the procedures in the nursing book. You may do okay. If you decide to go into nursing my advice is to take all your prerequisites before you get to the actual nursing. This way you can concentrate on just nursing classes and not on English, math, microbiology, chemistry, psychology, speech, etc while trying to do the nursing courses... good luck

Start as a CNA first and see if it really is what you would like to do. Plenty of time to decide . Nursing is hard work and CNAs do all the dirty work for the nurses.

it is the way God each and every so often sends us a demonstration--with the aid of a stranger. you need to get greater severe now approximately your poetry and song. you need to hold jointly your poems and make a demo of a few of your songs. then you certainly can placed up them to publishers and checklist businesses. interior the intervening time, you may deliver some poems to non secular classes and cyber web websites and ask them to placed up them. this delivers you publicity and severe comments. yet bear in mind that at this beginning point, the poems you place up will probable exchange into the valuables of the business business enterprise to which you place up them.
