In the morning after I wash and brush my hair it is fine, soft, shiny, and luscious. At the end of my day it is flat, stringy, and loses it's shine, and just plain ugly. I wash my hair once or twice daily using moisturizing shampoo, and blow dry it cold after towel drying it.

The other answerers are right, you are washing your hair too much. Try every other day. Also, you didn't mention using conditioner. You should use conditioner after shampooing. The very best I have found is Pantene Ice Shine. Really, any type of Pantene is great. Hope that helps.

Take some time during the day to brush your hair some more. Brushing your hair will bring out the natural oils that brings out that shiny, luscious feeling that you enjoy so much. Also, take some time to shop for the proper hair brush for your hair. Thick hair requires a porcupine like brush where the bristles are just spiny and few. Fine hair needs that type of brush that is more traditional where the bristles are thicker and finer.

you wash your hair twice a day? First of all stop washing it so much, once a day, or even once every other day is fine. If you have oily hair though, washing it once a day should be ok. If you have oily hair, stop using the moisturizing shampoo, it's putting too much moisture in your hair making it flat stringy and greasy.

Um.. Why do you blowdry it after towel drying? Anywaaay, if you're hair gets like that, here's a hint; try another shampoo!
Moisturizing shampoo (In my opinion) tends to make greacy hair worse , it's good for dry hair. So why don't you switch shampoos?

you don't need a miosturizer from my view. Never blow dry it cool. This takes more time and isn't needed, plus it doesn't make things better. there are some cheap color touch-ups for 5 that would do it. It is to make your hair sleek, smooth, and radiant in texture. It also makes it feel better than usual. you might want to do that for at least a week for improve ment

You are washing your hair too much, and it sounds like it is over producing oil as a result. Try only washing it once a day or once every other day and see if that helps.

Go to the hair dresser. Or get finesse conditioner. I love that stuff. Also side bangs make it look better.
