In high school my brother was on the science olympic team, wore glasses and pants that were two inches too short. He also insisted on tucking in his shirt. He was tal and skinny. However he was very smart and in all honors or AP classes his senior year. He signed up to be a student tutor and got assigned with a very pretty red haired girl who was on the dance team. She had just broken up with her boyfriend (he was a laccrosse player) because she thought he was a jerk. She also seriously needed to raise her grades if she wanted to get into collage. Anyway, he helped her and she ended up falling for him. He never expected to get a girl like her, so he was very surprised when she kissed him one day after he drove her home. They went out until they graduated.

Seriously, once you're out of school that's a non-issue. If she wants you, she wants you, and she doesn't have a lot of friends to be embarrassed in front of.
