Can I use my PS2 Component AV cables on a PS3?

Yes, you can use the PS2's component cables for the PS3. But I think that there is one difference though. The PS2 component cables probably aren't gold plated, but the Component cables made by Sony for the PS3 are gold plated and the gold plated component cables are a little bit better in quality and will give you a little bit better sound and picture than the non-gold plated component cables.

Yes you can because that's what I'm doing. I just switch in and out depending on which machine I'm playing with.

I they were the same there wouldnt be a price difference and why didnt you just ask the guy that was selling them.
