There are many reward towards women. When Allah addresses the believer in the Qur'an, he is addressing both genders, therefore giving both beautiful rewards.
just because it says that the beieving men will have virgins in Jannah doesn't mean that there wont be men for the believing women; in jannah everyone will be pleased, and no one will ever be dissatisfied with what bounties Allah has granted them, as they say in one hadith, that the believer in the first level of Jannah, which has the least amounts of good, will think that he has better than everyone else besides hiim, when really there will be ppl with a thousand times more rewards than him or her.
i think that we should just try to understand the wisdom of Allah behind his sayings in the Qur'aan,,even though it willl be impossible to fully understand it.
Jazakallah for asking, even though i know that this is not a suffient enough answer, maybe u can ask this question on an islamic forum.
ur sis in Islam

what I want to know about the "pure maidens" that are for the men......is 1. How are these women to stay "pure" once given over to the men.....will they need more "pure maidens" to replace the ones that are no longer virgins?
2. And what will happen to them if they are all ugly?
3. Look at the double standard of conduct for the sexes in Muslim lands, as a western woman on the Internet I am constantly being asked sexual questions that I refuse to answer for these so called "religious men"....personally I think they need to learn more about women as people with rights and feelings....not have more women than they can handle, as in the promises of the quran.

Salaam Alaykum,
It is "companions of equal age." Many women in the Qu'ran received high regard and entry into Jannah one in particular because she with her infant child chose to leap into flames instead of denounce Islam. It is told in the Qu'ran the path to heaven lies under your mothers feet! Our rewards as all believers will be grand indeed. Perhaps we will not suffer pain, disease, and enjoy peace and serenity that is Jannah!
I could care less about companions and more enjoy Inshallah the true paradise of the magnificence of being amongst the brilliance of what we can't comprehend but if Allah SWT promises it is so..and AllahSWT knows best it is good enough for me even if I enjoy the splendor alone in the presence of AllahSWT
Wasalaam

There's something really wrong with the people here. You guys are so biased and have so much hate in your hearts, I feel sorry for you.
Authentic gave the only worthwhile reply. It is well known that a worthy believer gets what they desire in heaven. Many men have desire for women and actively seek to be with women even if it is an illicit affair, but the Quran tells them to protect their private parts from sin and lower their gaze and be patient because in heaven there will be inhabitants of heaven that are a gazillion times better than women on earth. That is the reason for the emphasis for men. Women aren't well known to be active seekers of men unless they were prostitutes... however, God has given them desire and if they still desire it they can get whatever they want in heaven. Islam is a fair religion and the punishment and bounty for things is independent of gender.
[Quran 9.72] Allah has promised to the believing men and the believing women gardens, beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetual abode; and best of all is Allah's goodly pleasure; that is the grand achievement.

It is wonderful that you are a God-fearing person, but your very question shows a true imbalnace in the Quran that begs the question whether it truly is from God. And where are all these maidens to come from for the men? Why are women supressed during their lives only to not receive anything afterwards anyways? Why should they not rebel? A loving God does not prefer 50% of his children over the other half.

Interesting question..
I think that the Islamic women are quite hopeful that there wont be any Muslim men, that would be their reward for the ill treatment they have gotten by the hands of their own countrymen in this life, and if they were allowed to voice their opinions, I m sure many would agree. I have read books written about their lives and ill treatment, and although they loved their country, they themselves recognize the injustices from both the men of their lands and their men's interpretation from their holy books

I read in Quran that we are gonna be always young...still I do believe whatever description of heaven in Quran is meant to be understood by the people of that time. Now we know that that world little will have to do with this one.
I also read, but I am not sure if it was in Quran that for those sister who had have several marriages in this life they would be allowed to choose for eternity to the one with best character...

Because the author(s) of the Quran were men who did not believe women are equal. That is why in many Islamic countries, women are forced to hide their beauty, are not allowed to vote, and are punished for being raped...among other things.

If you read the verse completely you will find that it is said as a good news, a "matsal" , "is like" for those people who do the right thing and believe in The Almighty G-d, follow G-d orders and stay away what forbidden.
have you ever heard the words saying that there's a heaven where there's no palace, rivers, trees, and all those material world but one, the present of The Almighty G-d
peace

I have never quite understood the "beautiful, pure maidens" purpose or their relation to God and Heaven. I will refer back to this question to see if it is explained. The answer to your question also interests me.
