Beetles and insects in tub dream - What does it mean?

I keep having a dream. it is always in the bathroom surrounding the tub. There is a an object (I don't remember what - it's like shampoo or soap or something) on the edge of the tub... When I move the object there are big beetle bugs and some other kind of insects, possibly spiders, but I don't remember the other insects, however, I do remember those big black beetles bugs with white spots . I knock them all into the tub and rinse them down the drain with water..... What does this mean?

Also, being in the bathroom is a vulnerable time - naked, etc...

Bugs in this case could be a sense of guilt, shame, don't accept your body or wish you were someone else and aren't at peace with yourself.

Could also represent paranoia - whether real or irrational. If it continues to happen, it obviously means something.

If you search hard enough, you'll find the answer.

Since it is in the bathroom, it's obviously to me a personal, vulnerable, private thing where no one else comes - a place where we go when we're on our own.

Ahhh, this is an easy one, the bathtub represents your past experiences and all the mistakes you have made, the shampoo you move symbolizes you trying to make a move in life, possibly to get ahead, when you do this you are overwhelmed with your past mistakes, the bugs, and try to wash them away and make yourself clean again, the white spots represent your good intentions, but somehow it never works out. White has always symbolized goodness and cleanliness, your bugs may have white spots but your mind sees these as the past mistakes haunting you.
