Ah, this is a conundrum. You'd think that it would be 0, since 0 to any power would be 0. But, you also know that any number to the 0th power equals 1. So which is it? 0 or 1? The answer is it depends. 0^0 is an indeterminate form, meaning we don't quite know what the answer is without looking further into where the number came form. For instance, lim x->0 x^x = 0^0 = 1 , but lim x->0 0^x = 0^0 = 0 .
Edit: You learn more about this in calculus, just in case you don't really understand what I'm saying now. =)

Impossible..........it is impossible to have 0 to the 0 power......although. it is possible for any other # to be to the 0 power....any other number to the 0 power is 1 no matter what number it is 2 or 2,000,000,000....doesnt matter
But again it is impossible for 0 to be to the 0 power

it is an indeterminate form. so it is either 1 or undefined. so whatever helps your math proof easier without having to make a special case for 0 then go for it.
It is almost like light. Is it a particle or a wave. It behaves like both and so does 0^0

Any interger from one to infinity to the zero power is ONE. However, I do NOT believe zero to the zero power is defined.
