I am looking for a recipe for "Honey moon Salad" made with whipped cream and fruit has anyone heard of it?

I've always heard that a Honeymoon salad is.....lettuce alone! ;)

Honeymoon Salad

1/2 package mini marshmallows
1 cup minced maraschino cherries
1/3 cup maraschino cherry juice
1 10 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
14 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 pint sour cream
1 cup flaked coconut

Combine all ingredients, stir to blend. Cover and chill, then serve.

I do not know if this is the one you are talking about when I grew up m mom called it Watergate salad. Happy Thanksgiving!.......... Sometime we used fruit cocktail or mandarin oranges

1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling

1 can (20 oz.) DOLE Crushed Pineapple, in juice, undrained

1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping


COMBINE marshmallows, dry pudding mix, pineapple and pecans in large bowl until well blended.

ADD whipped topping; stir gently until well blended. Cover.

REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour before serving. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
