Ok, I am in LOVE with a girl that is mormon, she lives in utah. I live in Florida, I know in the long run she wants me to convert and i LOVE this girl to death but dont respect the religion. my family is against me moving out to be with her cause they feel like i will be gone forever. I LOVE this girl and have been home for 3 months and our relationship has come down to me move out there for the holidays or its OVER. sooo idk what to do, my family is SOOO important to me, my father was killed around this time 2 years ago so the holidays is sad for my family and my moms my best friend, shes not making it easy on me and neither is my girl friend. I have never been so confused in my life and feel like im in the depths of despair. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY, i need some advice from anyone

YES. It is not allowed for mormons to be with non mormons. If she says move out there for the holidays or its over, then odds are then that when you get there that there will be high pressure to convert. Time to get over her and move on.

Religion is a major factor in relationships for Mormons. You both need to pause a moment and consider what is involved for both of you in a serious relationship. What she will really respect is not instant conversion so much as instant maturity. When you show her you can take charge of the situation, she will begin to have trust in you. The best thing is to have a serious conversation about all the things married couples are concerned about. Religion is one. There are carreers, children, finances, interests. even where you go on vacation, that either bring you together or set you apart.
