Just a thought after reading the dog biting question, do you think it is safe for anyone to bite their dog? Maybe with a question like that you may want to warn other inexperienced dog handlers that this is not a good thing to do, unless you are experienced with dogs. Not that I will be trying it (I have no need to) but I am sure some ********will now try that and could end up with no nose, or is that something that would not happen? I am not judging it is just a thought.

You are right, I should of warned people about this. I have worked with dogs for a long time now. People that are not experienced should not try things like this. It is just like people suggesting to roll a dog for dominance. I would never tell someone to do that! That is the fastest way to get bit in the face if you do something like this.

Another thing would be like people cutting the nails of their dogs. If a dog starts pulling away and fighting, I hold on to that dog until I am done cutting its nails. I am sure that there are plenty of people that would just give up. That is giving the dog the message that they can act like an idiot if they do not want to do something!

OMG St.lady!! I can see now that people will think that I bit part of my girl Bella's ear off and not the ***** that she was in a fight with!! Bahahahaha!!LOLOL

You are kidding me! haha That is stupid on face and anyone silly enough to not know so won't listen to any warning! haha It is like the fools that attempt things like 'alpha rolls' on dogs that already know the person is a fool! hahaha They will get bit!! They will not listen... sorry, too many years of watching this nonsense occur...

I would warn them not too. Don't bite a dog unless you are wanting to get bit back

I haven't read the question you're referring to but it is extremely irresponsible to tell someone to bite their dog if he or she doesn't know what they're doing. You're right- it's dangerous and someone could easily end up getting bitten by even an even tempered dog.

i actually answered that question, and i do bite my dog, its not like biting him hard to hurt him, just like nibble. like you would pretend to eat a little kids finger(maybe you think thats awful too) its just playing, now i could see if some dog just came up you bit it but if its your own dog and you know he will not react or care for that matter then its no big deal. please do not think that i would ever bite a chunk of my dogs ear off!!

For some reason this just made me laugh. I can picture it now, the vets offices being flooded with dogs that are missing a part of their ear and the stupid owners telling the vet they learned it on YA............LOL

Bears2zealand you should have placed a warning

So now the truth comes out..........You did bite your dog!!!! ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

to be honest anyone cruel enough to bite their dog deserves to get their head bitten off! I understand the logic in thinking about inexperianced dog keepers but at the same time a little common sense says not to do that.
