so lets see 50 soccer 45 bball and 50 vball.
50 + 45 + 50 = 145
15 students play all 3 sports so 15 x 3 = 45
45 were counted for 15 students so..
145 - 45 = 100 left
100 students - the 15students = 85 students left
if all 85 students played at least one sport then..
100 - 85 = 15 sports left

so (15kids x 3sports) + (15kids x 2sports) + (70kids x 1sports) =
45 + 30 + 70 = 145
so what is the number of students that played 2 sports..
would be 15.

my answer would be 15. don't know if it's right though

This is a mathematics question and I was taught how to solve it. Unfortunately I had not get it well, as it was complicated.
15 play 3 games:
145-15=115 play one and two games
115-100=15 play two games
At least 2 games will be played by 15+15=30 students

Soccer will be represented by "s"; s = 50 players.
Basketball will be represented by "b"; b = 45 players.
Volleyball will be represented by "v"; v = 50 players.

X = Two Game Players.

[all students = s + b + v - x [see above] - x - x + Three Game Players.]
100 = 50 + 45 + 50 - x - x - x + 15
100 = 160 - 3x + 15
3x = 60
x = 20

So, 20 students play at least two games?

I am positive my math isn't correct.
Sorry. I gave it a shot.

I think it's 30.

145 sport-player slots
100 total students, each playing at least 1
That leaves 45 player-slots with more than 1
Take away 15 player-spots for those that play 3
That leaves 30 students who play at least 2

I think..but I'm not usually good at these...
