I like to use a combo of shout and oxy clean - spray with shout and then scrub the stain (either using your finger nail or a small toothbrush). - you need to agitate the stain to get it to loosen up. Then sprinkle on oxy clean and let it sit for 30 minutes and Wash. BEFORE you dry it, make sure the stain has come out - once you dry it, the heat will set the stain, making it almost impossible to remove! (I'm a klutz with red wine - I feel like a pro at this! can ya tell? lol!)

White wine, actually, took a red wine stain out of my pigskin-suede couch but, we "got it" right away. My sister, and I, use eucalyptus oil to remove dried on red wine stains (you can get this from your pharmacy). Pour some oil on the item and rub it in then, run it through a warm/cold cycle in your washer but do not add fabric softener. You'll need to use plenty of detergent so you won't smell like a cough drop!

When it just happens, get some soda water from the bar or your kitchen and wash off immediately; however, if it dries...If the shirt is white; bleach. If the shirt is colored; Oxyclean. Also, sometimes I will take my carpet cleaner and spray on spots and throw into wash--don't let sit on the stain, wash in washer immediately or sometimes the cleaner is too strong and will bleach stain the shirt.
