My cats eat whiskas. From the brands I mentioned (Purina proplan, nutro and Royal canin) Can you rank them from best to worst? My kittens are 6 months old.

Nutro, Royal Canin, and Purina ProPlan.

Honestly Royal Canin is a good food, but not appropriate for all cats, fat wise that is, so I rated it second.

Any would be better than Whiskas! Be sure to make a slow transition to prevent upset tummy.

Edit: Price doesnt matter. I took all things into account when I rated. Quality is the most important. I consider all 3 to be mid-level foods, not the best but not the worst.

You would get a better value (quality and overall health of cat) for your money if you feed high quality brands such as Wellness, Innova, Merrick. Look for no animal-by product, little-no grain, and meat being in the first ingredient (listed as an actual animal, not a generic meat).

I feed my cats Wellness cat food. They share 2 cans a day and sometimes a little dry (Wellness also)

Not on your list, but Blue Buffalo cans and dry food are much better than Nutro and the others mentioned.

I would say:
Blue Buffalo, Nutro, Royal Canin (very overrated), Purina is horrible, and Whiskas is by far the worst.

Read the labels. You should never have corn in your dog or cat's diet. Corn is in all but Blue.

I haven't tried Proplan, but my cats all prefer Royal Canin Siamese to the dry Nutro (though they did like the Nutro Senior dry but not enough to warrant it as a steady food).

Any of those three might be step up from Whiskas. Try to find Wellness - that's one of the best in both the dry kitten and canned foods.

1. Royal Canin
2. Proplan
3. Purina

Royal Canin makes excellent cat food. I would highly recommend it.
